It'd be cool to meet some of you guys before getting lost in the crowd at the Ace. I'd be coming down the M40/A40 and guessing from there (only been once and followed someone). If anyone could meet somewhere that would be cool.

If Ace is where I am thinking then its a straight run up the A3 for me and onto the North Circular

A3 -> M25 -> M40(E) then the North Circular. That's the way I usually go, although if you can avoid the M25 then all the better.

As I said in the other thread. I'm going to be going to a friends on Sunday then leaving from there in the morning. I don't know if we'll be going to the Ace first or straight to Southend. Last year we went straight to Southend.

I'll text Anand and John on Sunday evening to let you know what I'm doing, so if you just let me know what you're up to then we can try to meet up somewhere.

I'm probably going to be going to a friends on Sunday in London then going from there in the morning.

The Oxford 'First time' stuff is supposed to be quite good, not bad price either.

As I said in another thread I need to get my tyre sorted before I go on any long trips.

My Alpinestars textile jacket does a pretty good job, as do my boots. But I don't have any proper waterproof stuff, I'll regret it one day.

What make is it? Some makes will test it for you. Think Arai do....not sure about any others.

How did you fix it into your helmet?

Mine came with velcro so I just stuck one piece to the camera holder and one piece to the inside of the helmet.

Which camera holder? And how is it not looking at the ceiling? Both my helmets, the bit at the side inside the visor is angled like this

I did it like he does in this video (the 2nd way he shows)

But the velcro I used came off so now I'm trying to work out another way of doing it.

I used to nod to mopeds but they either ignore me or give me a really strange look so I stopped.

It's a rather one sided poll so far.

I prefer to wave or salute but that's probably because I'm a bit weird.

Thought ad bite the bullet and just go for it..

Ordered my fuel exhaust 10 mins ago, should be with me in couple days!

Comes with a free piece of cake as well.

Also I believe it was in Ipswich not Stevenage.

The baffle can be removed from all of them apart from the 'Budget' ones.

Fozzie has one on his bike (Monky Knuckles old one) and it sounds awesome! . Dont know about quality or what not but it looks and sounds good

The quality is pretty good. It's been on the bike for a year or so and had no problems whatsoever. Clean it up with some metal polish every now and again and it looks as good as new.
