Ace Cafe Reunion - Reunion!!
MonkeyKnuckle replied to Paul's topic in London & South East Rideouts and Meets
Hooray!!!!!!!!! I should probably mention that I've never been up there to a dogger meet, it's only what I have heard. That mega burger looks tasty though. -

Also, that's where the doggers meet sometimes, so it would be like a meal and a show. As for dates, I don't mind. I have a season ticket to Portsmouth FC, so if there's a home game on then it's a no go from me. -

I quite like Christmas itself but not the 3 months of TV adverts, seeing decorations in shops etc. I was surprised to see Halloween stuff the other day, that's just under two months away. We should organise a Christmas do though, we could all dress up as Santa on our bikes. -

Paul, don't you know it illegal to mention the word Christmas before December. Ok, maybe not, but it should be. -

I didn't realise you were at Pease Pottage, did I actually meet you? I can't remember. I know I met your friend Anne-Marie was it? She said you went home 'cause you weren't feeling too grand. -

Is the Ace Cafe fairly easy to get to? Do we need to go through heavy London traffic to get there? -

I didn't know anyone there before the forum. So it was a bit strange trying to guess who was who. -

Sounds good to me, although I would prefer somewhere a bit closer to Portsmouth like the place Wow mentioned for example. Sounds good to me as well. -

As you can probably tell when I rode past you at the petrol station by myself that I lost them at one point. I thought I was keeping up quite well until then. I did see them again on the A27, they were pulled into a lay-by so I gave them a beep and a wave and carried on. -

Yeah, I rode down with him. Then we found Clashfan and were heading towards the concorde thing and lost him. Didn't see him again until I saw him riding off, then I saw him standing in a petrol station on the way home. -

STampie has a green Ninja, he was also wearing green leathers if that helps. -

Oh right, 'cause part of the A27 was closed for some reason so I had to go on a huge detour. For some reason I can't get the phrase 'Real Savings for Real bikers' out of my head. -

I'm so knackered. My fingers hurt, my wrists hurt, my ankles hurt, my legs hurt, my back hurts, my ears hurt and most painful of all in the groin area. Nice to meet everyone except we kept getting split up and only saw you all in Brighton for about 10 minutes or so. Great effort by Jin coming all that way, I can imagine how sore she is going to be when she gets home. Big thanks to Harry as well for burning me those CDs. Cheers. And finally thanks to Stampie & friends for leading me there and back and thanks to his family because I believe they took a longer route home to take me back, even though I completely lost them at one point and only caught up 20 minutes afterwards because they had pull into a lay-by. The traffic was insane in Brighton, I was thrown into the deep end in regards to filtering. -

C'mon you can still come, you know you wanna. Skittles was going to come on her own down the A roads so there must be a route somehow. -
Great video bud. And I know that roundabout you went round in Portsmouth, go round, over it all the time. What were the kids arguing about at the end?

Ah, manual chokes, don't you love them. My bike and car has one, I usually forget to turn it off so I'm burning fuel like no tomorrow. That's why I like driving my van, it doesn't have one. I do find my bike only needs a little bit of choke for a short while, my car needs it for quite a while before it's warmed up. -
alpinestars smx plus boots
MonkeyKnuckle replied to jimsoon's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I've got SMX-4s (waterproof version) and they are very comfy and once they are worn in a bit are great for quick rides, long rides etc. They are cheaper than the Plus so going by that the Plus must be better. -

The contacts section is at the very bottom. You need to request access to it but doing what it says. Then there's loads of numbers in there. I've sent my number to Skittles if you need it, I've got her number as well. You can send me yours as well if you want, it's up to you. -
