I bought a Zumo yesterday as I saw one going for cheap...ish. Haven't been able to try it out yet due to my bike being dead but I've played around with it and it seems really good so far. Got lots of fancy features on it.

Tried it today and it's completely dead. Turn the key and the dash lights come on, press the starter button and nothing, no clicking, just silence. Went to the place I bought it from and they are going to collect it on Wednesday as it's still under warranty until next August.

Oh..Fantastic! I'll hook one up and leave it under my seat then. (When I get my bike working that is. )

Can anyone give me an idiots guide to wiring up a 12v cigarette lighter to a bike? It can't be as simple as attaching the + wire to the + terminal and the - wire to the - terminal can it?

Not yet. I haven't tried for the last couple of days as it's been -5 or so by the time I've got home. Wait for it to get above freezing before trying again.

They're great, really comfy. They do loads of designs which include camouflage ones, but Spider-man is much cooler. EDIT: Looks like people have already suggested the above but I'm still recommending them.

Just tried it again with a full battery and it sounds like it's almost there but still not firing up. Also after a while there was a smell of petrol so I guess that means the petrol is getting through?

I wouldn't know how to turn it off if you even can on my bike.

Turn over but doesn't fire.

Hey all, My bike's been sitting idle for about a month or so as I haven't had the time to ride it. I tried to start it up today and it won't start. (I should probably mention I know nothing about the mechanical side. ) Put key in, turn it on. All the dash lights come on as did the headlight and rear light (which I've turned off now) If I press the electric start it tries to start but never does, just makes the starting noise. It's not starting then dying, doesn't get that far. Any ideas? (Layman's terms encouraged. )

Do you just run it off the battery or have you rigged it up somehow?

If you type 'Motocomm' into Youtube there's a load of videos from people using these cameras. Albeit older models, the sound quality doesn't sound too good though....

Sounds like a billy bargin. Considering they are about £300 new.

Although what happened to me might just be because I had a forgiving examiner, others might not be so tolerant.
