  1. Hi guys checked the rr and seems to be ok checked all 3 phases and 4.17 and 4.18 and 4.20 which sujests all good then checked the stator plug with meter done ground test and seemed no current going to ground then done the 3 wires check and got small amount 0.01 but it's still a reading if broke coil it wouldn't come up with a reading I'm stuck now guys???

  2. Cheers all it sounds like you all think itshe the rr.

And when I rang my local bike mechanic he said same thing they are know for it. But also the stator could be fried?

Done a slow charge on it over night readings are

    12.9v couple hours after charge

12.1v when connected and electrics on engine not running.

It fired up lovely and on idle 13.5v

When revved to 5000rpm it went to 13.7

    Does this mean anything?

    Deff rr?

  4. Hi I have a 98 gsxr 750 injection model and have recently changed the stock can and put a straight through can on back sounds very nice but I have been warned about fuel mix being way off with gsxr when u do this it also has a k&n filter fitted. Will this affect the bike badly? Make it blow? Or is it not noticeable? Only way I have heard of sorting this is power commander peoples advise would be well appreciated cheers

  7. hello all,

i have just brought a 1993 honda cbr600f from my uncle as he is no longer able to ride it and has been sat up for ages(8-12 months) there for the battery is nackered wont even power the dash lights let alone start it.

i opened the bat terminals and there was no fluid at all in the batt would it be possible to fill the batt and would this be able to power the bike properly?

or is it just a case of a new batt?

if so im looking to spend as litle as possible and am woundering what you guys would recomend as a decent but cheap battery?

also it says when you get a new battery you need to fill it up then charge it but how do i do this with out a batt charger would it be ok to jump it off my car and take it for a ride to charge it?

    any advice will be great

    cheers
