  1. Ive seen a few of these on ebay, I note that some people are leather or nothing, and i know that they wont offer that kind of protection. Ive seen hoodies though with shoulder elbow and back protectors on ebay for around £60. Thought they looked ok for nipping to the shop or watever. Thoughts?
  2. Hey guys, moneys really tight, jut wondered if anyone has a tinted visor for an agv k4 lying round, unlikely but worth a shot.
  3. Hi guys. I have had this bike a couple of years and it was running quite rough, Ive given it a service and carbs cleaned and balanced. I am really rubbish with mechanics and all the other stuff so apols for stupid questions. In traffic and low revs, the bike is really juddery like is on kangaroo fuel, if i release the throttle it really judders. Any other ideas other than carbs that I could try? And if possible, how I look at them? Thanks in advance
  4. Doesn't need a kitemark, i saw this comment in another thread. They can be assessed at the road side for roadworthiness, and there is more than one way than looking at a kitemark. Decibel meters for example?
  5. nice one mate, ive found all Dainese jackets to be similar to the mrs' boob tube, they are tiny. Im usually a medium, and have an XL in these, they are very small. Very comfy though!
  6. i looked at those, but for £100 extra i couldnt not have dainese over RST
  7. Mate go straight for the DAS. You have no restrictions, and then you can buy whatever bike you want. You WILL get bored of a 125 very quickly. Im sure a couple will be along to say no you wont, but most will agree with me. and why should you fail? i did two days of DAS then test, i passed first time and i was only 19, albeit its changed a fair bit since then. Theres no reason you should fail, its not that hard mate, go for it!
  8. took the plunge... Dainese Avro, £550. Best price i could get. im happy!
  9. tried the Dainese Avro on today, and they are so comfortble!!!! Just whether i can cope with shelling out that much for leathers!
  10. Ive managed to flog my BKS two piece, and now need some new leathers. I can pick some RST Tractech up for £300, or am tempted by the Dainese Avro for around £550. Just wondering if anyone knew of any good offers or discounts on two piece leathrs at the minute? ive had a look around my local shops, but always worth asking Ideally plain black, wouldnt mind a little bit of colour, but mostly black.
  11. was that a deal or second hand?
  12. I know immediately people will say Dainese are much better.... Ive had a look at the RST Tractech, which i can get for £300....like these but the two piece http://www.rocketclothing.co.uk/images/uploads/RST/RST_TractechR.jpg Or the Dainese AVRO at £600... Dainese%20T%20Avro Are the dainese £300 better?
  13. haha, the arai was even tighter!
  14. bugger. I might try and get some smaller cheek pads, instead of making me a hamster. Ill see if it loosens over time... should od, hopefully.
  15. For any of you guys who have an AGV, sespecially a K4... a quick question. I bought a new on elast week, in medium, and i usually have small lids, felt fine nice and tight in the shop. Riding to work yesterday, and then home again, felt SO tight on my heaed, gave me a headache both times, and the cheek pads feel like, only very slightly, they are pushing my cheeks up like a hamster. Did you find your moulded quickly, or do i need a large?!
