  7. Thanks guys I've looked them up and location isn't too bad for me. I kinda live half way between Southampton and Portsmouth so I will obviously consider any shops that side also. I've only lived down south for a few years so still getting my bearings a bit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi everyone, I'm new to biking and looking for some recommendations on any good shops in Southampton and surrounding areas where I can get some gear, I've not currently got any so going to need the works (helmet, gloves, boots, and clothing). I normally shop at lot online but some things like helmets it's obviously important to get a good fit so will be going into a shop for bits like that. Tia Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. I would do the DAS and then use whatever money you have left for a PCP deal on a shiny new bike. I'm thinking of doing this exact same thing and quite like the Yamaha MT-07 which is very affordable on a PCP deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Indeed I have my eyes on an MT-07 once I pass my DAS [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Well done sir for the determination to succeed, I enjoyed reading that and had a chuckle about the dog [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks guys that's kinda what I thought but wanted to check, CBT is booked so will decide after that whether to get a 125cc or just do DAS course and get a bigger bike after that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. When I check my driving license online is states the following in the section 'Vehicles you can provisionally drive': You can drive a motorcycle of a power exceeding 35kW or with a power to weight ratio exceeding 0.2kW per kg, or A motorcycle of a power not exceeding 35kW with a power to weight ratio not exceeding 0.2kW per kg and derived from a vehicle of more than double its power. A motor tricycle with a power exceeding 15kW. I was under the impression that even after completing a CBT I am still only able to ride a bike of upto 125cc on L plates but this has me confused as I'm reading it as I can ride what I like on L plates after I complete my CBT. Does anyone else have a clearer understanding?
