  1. I used to ride all year round but since having a car I really don't see the point unless it's a nice dry day and you can have a little fun, riding in shit conditions just for the sake of it doesn't compute with me, why risk you shiny pride and joy when a car is sat there?

  2. The trouble is that twat Corbyn is also now a turncoat who now thinks we should stay in. So even if we vote leave and then vote the tories out at the next election than we will still have a party in power who now want us to stay in Europe. I don't see how someone who says he has priciples and has voted against the EU lots of times can now have the bare faced cheek to say we should stay in. Talk about being a hypocrite.

You really think Labour would get in with that Twat Corbyn in charge

I didn't honestly think that labour could select a worse leader than millbland but they have

I know right some choice were left with!

  3. we did say about going to France but nothing is set in stone yet!

we will probably go across with no plan and follow the sun and just walk in to hotels for a room for the night

What he means is Keith will walk into hotels to ask about rooms!

    We better get good weather!

  4. For somebody who won't be voting (as my knowledge on the subject isn't good enough for me to feel confident enough to vote on such a massive decision):

Can anybody give me (in Lehmans terms) what 1 of the biggest Pro's and 1 of the biggest Con's of leaving the EU would be?

    Purely just out of curiosity.

How about you d a little research into it yourself before the vote and maybe you might change your mind and actually cast your vote one way or the other?

You may find there is any issue or issues you really don't agree with or something you actually feel passionate about that could sway you one way or the other.

No one in this thread really knows what the outcome will produce but they have looked into certain issues whether speculation or fact.

Surely it's better than just going through life not caring one way or the other as I'm guessing most of us will never possess the full facts for significant votes in our lifetime.

  5. This seems to be the worst frr there come up with yet, transfers every race seems pretty dumb, now low cost riders are pretty much place holders.

The system they had before seemed to work, multiple races in a round added needed some planning this system just smash in 2 best riders you can get for that weekend!

So unless I'm missing something it's going to be pretty hard to bridge any gaps.

  6. I will reaffirm what I said at the start, I couldn't disagree more with the sentiment that:
But whichever way you vote at least you've had a say and an opinion' date=' to not vote or even worse to say you don't care is pretty f**king dumb and if that's your standpoint please in future don't whine about something you clearly don't care about.[/quote']There is something far far worse than wasting your vote; using it to vote for something without actually understanding the implications of what you are voting for, and there are one hell of a lot of wildly uniformed people planning to vote in this referendum, on BOTH sides of the table. I don't aim this at anyone particular, inside of this conversation or out; I say it in a general sense. A huge portion of our population do not have enough of a grasp of the debate to be having a say in it. I respect Ricky and others like him for his stance in this, one heck of a lot more than I do anyone who is casting a vote while being oblivious of the consequence -, and I include uniformed people that are voting the same way as I intend to.

I absolutely knew I'd get this reply and I can see the point your making but on the flip side it will effect many people in different ways and I've read many sides of this in this thread alone however I still feel if you have any opinion on any of it then you should make a choice one way or the other, does anyone really have all the answers or seriuosly know exactly what the consequences will be? I'd wager absolutely not.

Like any election people have their own views, just saying people shouldn't use their vote because they aren't up on everything is ridiculous and tbh who the hell should decide who should and who shouldn't have their say.

Agree or not its my opinion.

  7. The European superstate is falling apart at the seams, people bang on about how much we pay to help other countries out, while admirable I'm sure there's plenty at home that needs help and how much is actually really getting to the people that really need it in these countries and not lining the pockets of the people that run the EU and all the stupid shit we read about on a daily basis.

How many pro Europeans would have been happy to join the euro way back when but must be glad now that we never did?

I don't like the word racist being bandied about I'm not against immigration either but being told how many you have to accept regardless of their use to the country is out of order no matter where they are from.

I dont believe we will have any problems not being part of this failure and to me personally it's an actual chance to make a real difference to our future, however I feel that the vote will be to stay.

But whichever way you vote at least you've had a say and an opinion, to not vote or even worse to say you don't care is pretty f**king dumb and if that's your standpoint please in future don't whine about something you clearly don't care about.

  8. Most agree that the wealthy should pay more in tax than the poor. Well the UK as of 2015 was the worlds 4th most wealthy country in the world beating both Germany and France.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_wealth

Germany (29.3 billion) and France (23.2 billion) pay far more than the UK (17 billion) into the EU. The UK is the wealthy nation in Europe who gets away with the smallest contribution.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/fina ... -know.html

Anyone who slags off the wealthy for not paying their fair share in tax should not be moaning about our EU contribution.

I found this paragraph quite interesting

"However, on a net basis, Britain was the second largest contributor to the EU budget last year. It put €10.8bn more into the EU pot last year than it took out. Only Germany paid more on a net basis."

I still believe as others do that this contribution is too much, why should we prop up other member states failing economies?

  9. I'm in,

I like the idea that I could leave this afternoon and go and work in one of the many fantastic European countries. I also like the short queues at customs.

A lot of outers (not all) seem to focus on issues like immigration which is just based in fear, and the idea that britain is better on its own, ie. Independence for independence sake. The reality is everyone's lives are effected by global events much more these days than in the past, climate change, the economy, terrorism are all global issues and we need to be part of a global power to play any significant role in our future.

I don't feel like being part of a European superstate has any bearing on any of those issues tbh and some are more than closely tied to immigration and the definite need to control our own borders and levels of immigration.
