Just as an update...i am now more confused been out to bike all electrics now work but surely as its been stood so long wont start....will prob try to bump it off sometime soon and find it all dont work again

I believe they didnt cancel Brands, they wouldn't pay the fee to host the event. They are a buisness after all and palmer reccond they wouldnt make anything from it.

SMIDSY is irrelevant when has it been made law to wear the blackpool illuminations whilst riding so you can have a claim. Smidsy is also irrelevant cos what else are they gonna say "erm I did see you but i thought i'd pull out on you anyway" yeah right. I will not wear a hi vis I will try to use my experiance to keep myself safe not rely on some shiny plastic. -

No I havent it worked i put it away then when i next got it out it didnt work. As i have no idea what I am looking at and have zero maintainance skills it will be heading for my usual garage in early feb. Thanks for all your suggestions!

I noticed when I re-connected the battery the needles flicked accross the dials, no theres no lights or anything. Walney its a 2002 zx6r

Am gonna try the jump lead thing, if that has no results it will be garaged till Feb!! So I can get some cash, push the insurance back and have it mot'd at the same time!

Right put the thing back together ( so i dont loose anything) and now alarm dont work but its nothing obvious will get some jump leads and try that as thats pretty simple to do. As for anything else its way beyond me and it can sit in the damned garage till I can get someone to sort it.....! Thanks for the suggestions at least its winter. Oh and I had the same problem with the honda I had..infact upto this point its been the most reliable bike ive had

Had the battery checked last night its fine..kicking out 13v Had missed the 30 amp fuse surprise surprise its fine Have no idea what a battery relay is! Think I will put it all back together flick a huge v sign at it and let the pro's sort it when I get chance!

Yes but dash lights still come on just stops engine firing.

No nothing. No signs of electrics at all except alarm beeps but wont go off.

Yeah checked the cut off switch when you turn the key on the needles swing round and back now nothing at all happens. Oh and it wil have to be simple cos I am
