Sometimes bikes do this, i suppose if it happened regularly it may point to a problem.

I hate tank bags, I have a tail pack and used to have a magnetic pad on the tank for directions but cant use it now as blade has a plastic tank! -

I checked weather looked good then bad so will hope that its gonna be good (shorts packed), do you have to pay for both days or is there a weekend ticket? Oh and who cares about the grandstand just need some local knowledge of where to watch from.
