  1. I always thought that making income + having fun should be one in the same or its not worth doing. Started off doing normal work and it was as fun as smearing your gentiles with fish paste and dunking them in a tank of hungry piranha. Moving on to places of authority ( health and safety inspector ) was fun for a little while but boring. Became a certified tech geek doing jobs all over, was ok and good pay until everyone you know wants freebie work, hours of work for nothing in return. But then I took my oldest passion of exotic pets that I have always been into since about 3 y.o and made it my business. Granted it only works for 5-8 months a year but its passion and pays bills. In feb I will be starting again for the year and my calculations estimate about 45-65k to come in from it over the year. The last year brought in 52k (before had a now born and had time) but this year is about the future of that child first before anything else. As soon as being responsible for a child they are your main financial responsibility, my family blood family is in so much debt my great great grandchild will be still paying it off i.e take my brother just turned 25 and owes roughly £108k in debts no student loans or anything - 10 different catalogues, every internet company ever, bills, people and so on. He spends all his money on himself more than likely 1.5k a month on games, camera's (brought and sold over 40 last year, not cheap ones either), drum sets, pets he never keeps more than a week and pi**es me off that too its not for me so why bother spending on a pet's needs (109 pets in 2016 and sold / released in the wild all of them cats, dogs snakes, gecko, turtles, tarantula's) i can rant about the idiot all day and dont get me started on my father who owes about 150k, mum 110k easy, sister with a child 45k also a selfish person. I cant see how people neglect the need for the want.
  2. 1) was rather boring, took her to the top of this massive hill overlooking the city- picnic on the hill top. 2) After playing a 3 hour gig, brought her on stage in front of about 150 metal loving bikers, then we all went for a joint ride to the pre decided location and got married about 3 hours later.
  3. The recipient of this token of love likes to be "invisible" but more than visible when with me as I have no shame, really I dont lol. Went into asda late at night walking the isles with her... zipping up my trousers and going on about how great that was and I will pop to the atm outside for payment, staff were hysterical but she not too impressed. She loves riding with me but crowds not her thing at all, I could go romantic boring dinner and flowers etc- done to death. I am the kind that will sky dive naked with the ring firmly tied around private area's into a vat of marmite, crawl out roll on a giant slice of toast and say will you marry me then "rise" to present the ring, by my standards even that is lame.
  4. Big plans coming up, its time to pop the question. I am one for massive plans massive impact, I don't do anything by halves. Almost time now, what do you think of the plan:- Gather a large group of bikers to a meeting place I have set, ride out with her on the back of my ninja to the meet up spot. Pop the question while she is thinking what are all these people watching me for, after she says yes and lets be honest has to ninja and all, there is not a proposal can go wrong with a ninja involved!! then take a tour ride as a large group and pitstop for a celebration. All will be recorded and used toward the big wedding video down the line. I always thought going on this program dont tell the bride since I am generally insane and my idea's are massive and 14k towards the wedding.
  5. I used a jet wash on my CBR600 F3 once, it did a good job but did a little damage to the decals and a little chipping. These days I get my bike hand washed by lovely red head in a white top - because I win at life

    Dead Bike!

Chinese bikes are terrible bar the more upgraded real bikes not toys like sinnis is ok but still more a toy than a bike. I had sanya sy-11 worst bike ever used. There are a few causes for something like that, helped a guy out lately had same problem. Took it apart and the alternator was the cause so needed replacement. There are a fair few reasons in all though, but best thing is to take it back like everyone else has said before.
  7. Brought the camera new @ £99 from argos with a butt load of fittings and accessories. I just wanted to have a camera for when im riding nice area's etc which it does the job. The picture quality is great at 1080, have no complaints about the video. The sound is not that great its very quiet in and out of the hard body water proof case. If you are looking for sound as well as good video its not the best. My brother just told me he has the 2.5k it has a mic port to add a mic but also built in with stereo mic. The camera is wifi enabled so you can use remote viewing on phone etc which is handy in some ways but not excellent as you need wifi connection to maintain it obviously. The mounts with it are great, pretty much every way you could need to fit it to bars, helmet etc. I fit mine to my helmet in less than 3 mins with the bonus ring cables added in the event it falls off which you normally have to buy separately. The other version the one my brother has got, also has a zoom function, normal and fish eye, mic input and few more. If I had known I would have got a 2.5k not the 2.7 but if its just video you want the 2.7k does the job nicely- will be uploading video some point soon.
  8. Honestly im not going to lie but that is rather impressive to get that out and so fast. my bike rests surrounded by 6ft brick walls, no way to get a bike out unless the gate (or crane). Oh dont get me started! my old bike space was rigged ... rather " you break in here, goodbye" manner. Thats the thing with insurance, you want lower premiums but cost of the bike has to be lower. Its like the t shirt I brought " My biggestfear Is that when I die my wife will sell my motorcycles for what i told her they cost".
  9. I can't remember what chemical it is now but its very harmful (cant remember its been a very long time since brought it), vile liquid in respect anyway.
  10. it is a good idea, I want motorised mirrors like most cars that retract. I just stick my nav to the windscreen it never falls off. In addition motorcycle nav's are rubbish on battery life and 4x as much to buy.
  11. Anyone use the bike cover shell? i was thinking of getting one since it bolts to the ground with a locking ability on some. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RxiE7aRQkpA/ViLm1V2hxnI/AAAAAAAAAj0/HGb9BHOcALI/s1600/IMG_4455.JPG 13mm chain is good for light and security, I have a 16 i think in my bike, if you can get a abus sledg they are pretty good disc locks.
  12. In the end of the day there is no real security is there? even though a bike weigh alot its not hard for a few people to lift into a van.
  13. I would say that it depends on the liquids as much as anything. The poundland liquids are vile as can be and are full of very harmful chemicals, I personally use the best liquids or build my own with max of 3mg tobacco. In some ways they may be just as bad and or addictive (guilty here) puffed mine 492 times thus far today since midnight. For some its better despite the risks, my brother was virtually on the last months if he never gave up smoking, got him to vape because he would never give up smoking and now he is alot better for it health wise.
  14. Wining idea, but as you ride off i will activate the kill switch installed on all my bikes. Really spared no expense on security options, yes im slightly paranoid... i say slightly.
  15. I got it was a joke lol, messing with you in return. Yeah its not the best area to live in, I have lived all over norwich, its either the worst or 2nd worst to mile cross area for theft. Luckily no one screwed with my wheels because I am well known in norwich, people and bikers alike. But here its so unsafe - lol there is a group of teens here 4-5 of them prowl the streets for wheels to steal, they dont like it when you throw locks around bikes they try to steal and I live in a blackspot of crime all come here to hide in abandoned buildings. Thats for 1 bike, I cant afford to do all 3 but im looking for a good multi insurance. I would sell the car but family needs and some family live in remote places without public transport.
  16. I am just curious as to what people are doing these days. I gave up smoking about 2 years ago but started to vape instead. To me its better not so harmful, no smoke smell all over you all the time, cheaper in ways. Spent ages looking for a good vape, upgrading as I went along. At the moment I use a smok alien 220w with a cleito 120 tank and a smok g priv 220w with a 120 cleito. Both great MODS out of all the ones I have had.
  17. Thats great news sorry I mis understood but to me that is just as bad, as a father my girl falls over I want to cry and twists me inside but seeing it for months would have killed me. Thank you.
  18. I had this same issue with both my wives and other guys wives I get dragged into lol. My driving instructor (car) missus wont let him get one because its unsafe.....but teaching new drivers that wreck his car 10 times a year is not, ok. My first wife gave it up after I already brought it and she caught me "cheating" (her words) on her with it by then it was too late explained it cost me after a cough and a mumble £800 but if you make me sell it would lose out on half....sellers market and all you know love. 2nd wife i had wheels before I met her (this is epic btw) but forced to sell them to get a car when fell pregnant, happy fathers day here is a ninja you always wanted .... win.
  19. Sorry for your loss mate. You sound like an absolute hero! I'm 31 with 4 kids also. Youngest was born at 25 weeks and it was the most gut wrenching, heartbreaking experience of my life so i cant even begin to imagine what you have had to go through. I am so sorry to hear that I know how hard that is, Anything to do with children so negative is the worst most hurtful thing anyone can experience. I wish I could express my feeling of loss for you but words fall short. You are more a hero than I, you have suffered through it straight where as parts of my mind are closed off to me, protects me. I am up on the chopping block for losing another one to services due to a scorned woman who seems to hate men. The fun never stops
  20. Children are alot of work, im 31 i have had 4 children but only actually have the 1 I parent. Lost one and my first wife, the one I have now, 2 from "less than agree'd exchange". Keeping up with this one is tough enough, she is extremely intelligent for her age which makes it harder, stair gates dont work she figured it out in less than 2 minutes, child locks, key locks - went into my sister in laws bag, got her key and unlocked and opened the door lol. I have to be honest sometimes I think it was not time to have a child I was not ready, and with most relationships puts a serious strain. Wow that is a fair amount of children, it would be great to family ride all 6 of you in a convoy.
  21. Thanks for the detailed info, it'll make my life a lot easier! ...now where's my gps jammer Just noticed you live in Norwich, dont worry my bikes are not in norwich, sadly I moved away due to having a child. Will have to travel a long way with that jammer of yours, though I do have a suzuki gn 250 + fazer still in norwich on loan and transport when I visit my brother, if you want to find them LOL. Fazer may be a little hard to steal though its bio-metrically started, little test see if it worked and it did lol.
  22. I will ask about the fairings, im going to go back there soon, i pop in every month or so to see if they have my panel in lol.
  23. I can get most parts for the same model in future if need them, there is a large breaker near me they have all the panels for the bike other than right side and tail. I just need a right side cant find one on the net anywhere, can get a plain unpainted then take it to this great paintshop that can match it but cost would be stupidly amount.
  24. Honestly it puts me off riding sometimes but the security is important to me because my bike is like my daughter, touch it or steal it and see how hard it is to pick up your teeth with broken fingers. They are not all the security measures there is another, besides the 1st GPS is located in a area that will take a good hour to grind or strip to, the 2nd redundancy gps is even harder to find. Thieves will steal anything around here, i dare not leave my bike out front and will only put it away when no one is watching to see its there lol. Moving here my car insurance went up by 3k and bike about 140% no joke and rules are strict. I keep a lock in the bike when I travel, i had the same issue security vs weight, I went for a small enough round a wheel and a post super thick chain think its 16mm, im never more than 3 min walk away from it, and my pager alarm will notify me if its even touched. Security cost me half the bike price. £200 a yr secure storage for the other 2.
  25. Its nice to see how many other parents and riders there are on here. Children are lovely to have around but often very hard work, You all have very cute children, sadly I dont have a picture of my girl on the bike because I have to hold her and no one to take the picture lol. I also lost a child and my wife at birth, I feel the pains of losing a child. Bhawk autistic children can be a bit funny and with strong obsessions over one thing, I am also autistic as well as other things. Sometimes it just takes time to add to the obsessions im sure bikes will be because most the family seem to be (awesome family btw). Just be prepared to have an empty wallet when of age to drive or ride lol.
