  1. The tiger was perfect in France ,I dropped it back whe we got home ,and it was a bit wide for tight filtering, although ive been using a 125 ,and a cub 90 so been a bit spoilt !
  2. I keep a small bike just for the commute as its solid traffic ,and also easier to stay on when its icy ,snow and you stray off the gritted areas during the winter months, normally swap them out every 1 or 2 yrs ,ive sold the 125 and dug the Honda cub out the garage ☺ Hoping to get something thats a do it all bike, which is difficult I think , really enjoyed the trip last month on the Tiger 800 Good point though,I went from a Rd125LC unrestricted 21hp of course ,to a Kawasaki GPX750 ,now that was a big jump !
  3. Just sold my 125 commuter, the RZ250 ,and the SV650 are also both up for sale as well Trying to find a bit of a do it all bike ,very occasional few day tour on the continent ,once a week commute, and a back road blast now and again Been offered 3 replacements ,not ridden 2 of them yet 2004 CB900F4,with a few extras ,exhaust ,heated grips, friend or a friends bike Father in laws Aprillia SL1000 falco, aftermarket cans ,excellent condition low mileage And just back of a trip around France ,borrowed a triumph tiger 800 ,which he mentioned he might sell Quite liked the tiger ,but its a bit big for a once a week commuter possibly ,the falco, although meant to be a tourer is quite forward leaning, similar i think to my SV,not been out on it yet ,or viewed the hornet Been reading as many online reviews as I can find but ,just wondered if anyone has owned any of these and has any opinions on any of them ?, Cheers
  4. Great Ive just sold my bike last night and its one of these or a mt07 Thanks
  5. Nust out of interest ,how tall is too tall for these,as i was thinking of one of these? Thanks
  6. I had to drive the car in for my weekly commute this week, what a nightmare ,ive not had to drive in rush hour for ages Sat at the junction on a 4 way mini roundabout ,going to go straight ahead, waiting as there was a queue ahead,so i didnt block the junction. When the lights ahead changed i waited until the cars were almost moving ,although theres also a queue on the left road joining too so you cant wait too long,i was halfway accross when a massive 4 x 4 came flying over the lights ahead and swung right to turn accross ,which he couldnt do for a few seconds as i was moving slowly in the queue ,he stopped and gave a seriously long horn blast ,i stopped and dropped the window down .He was going crazy shouting and even started spitting out of the car window at me I started to laugh and said calm down mate your have a heart attack,he went beserk and i slowly drove off Probably delayed him by less than 10 seconds ,even with the stopping ,would have been 2 or 3 seconds if he hadnt of been such a muppet
  7. Its fairly tidy,up and running £1400 Might go and take a test ride
  8. Been offered one so thinking of swapping my current once a week commuter 125 for this Read a few online reviews which were all not great , except for two by people who have actually owned one,who both give glowing reports My commute is approx 15 miles mostly B roads with a few sections of dual carriageway with heavy traffic and tight filtering ,hence the 125 Benelli TNT125, that can turn behind stationary cars blocking the lane ahead really easily
  9. Been using one once a week for a year ,great little bike, cheap and nothings broken yet ! Pretty cheap in these days of 10k plus bikes
