  1. At least neither of you blow people up!

    Your right though Andy.

It's the laws that need questioning not the way they are policed.

If people want to speed in accident hotspots, known speed camera haunts (which the C&F has been for years!) then they should be prepare to reap the repurcussions!

I, myself do my scratching on nice lightly used, under policed roads, where the chances of an accident are slim because there is not much to hit. (Of course I stick to the speed limits though! :? )

  2. Woaaaah

Way too much writing for me 2 read, but why am I seeing so much stuff like this on the forum these days ?

It gives me a headache.. :(

Making a stand will do nothing. The do-gooder life saving lobby are far too thick skinned to bow down to some bikes going slow on a road they want bikes to go slow on anyway!

If you really want to raise the issue, take your number plates off and ride the cat and fiddle at your own pace. That won't stop it either, but at least you'll have fun and the bike hating general public will be justified in their opinion at last!

  3. You don't need the clutch in to start, but it doesn't matter if you do!

As already mentioned if its not a rectifier its more than likely one of the large connectors that connect the loom to the ECU. Check there is no corrosion in those and if there is give em a good WD 40ing! (Not sure where they are on an SS I'm afraid!)

Do you know anyone with a Ducati nearby that may have a rectifier you can try? They are a doddle to swap over. Just check the code on the face to make sure its the same type (I think most are the same anyway!)

  4. putting it together is the easy part mate :?

you just glue the bits that you had to grind off

Yep. Its starting it that is the hard bit! :3some:

Good luck, going well so far!

Let me know when you are doing some track time as I want to go again this year, its been a while! :crybaby:
