Superbyke...out of curiosity- is that a Chinese bike?

well i will say it is comfy - cant recall how much it cost me, as i bought all my leathers, boots and gloves at the same time - id guess and say around 200 quid....they also do the same design - just inverted ie white lid with black smoke/bands....but i prefered this one at the time.

Anyone know ? Can i buy another from somewhere? is there any point? I did notice my visor steaming up alot at night and cold wet weather.... Bought myself a tinted visor and only got to wear it the once for 30mins - then the sun went in and the bike broke lol Edit - thanks WalneyFrankie for the tipoff - Respro Foggy Mask - i shall purchase one !

id ditch it, like others have said, it sounds like its reached the point where its just going to be a hole in the ground for you to throw what money you have into and distract you from your exams... she's been good to you, dont let it end on a sour note - im sure there's some budding mechanic out there who wouldnt mind a tinker or sell for parts, so i think you will get a sale, at least its 200quid in your back pocket to go for a new bike...mb put an advert in your local rag and school, see what response you get, mb even go visit your local bike mechanics and see if any of them will take her off your hands for a suitable sum? just my 2cents so to say ....

Thanks vicki, was early in the morning for me so i couldnt decide where to post ...and well im new to watching it on tv, i have never seen it before on tv, i know that probably sounds daft, but im not a sports fan so dont usually watch the interactive channels, only at the moment because the snookers on (yes im a bit of a fan of that) - casually pressing the channel changer on the tv 100 or so times (yeh i've know idea where that dam remote control is ) i stumbled over the motogp purely by accident, my eyes lit up and i became transfixed lol - stuff the snooker i thought!

So we all torn between watching the MotoGP or hoping on our bikes? I just been glued to the MotoGP myself, not that i can ride atm due to, well i think you all know.. Anyway im having a break from getting square eyes - im off to go look at a Thundercat

i have to agree about that margin for error on the minimum speed - i very much doubt all speedo's on bikes are as accurate as an offical calibrated speed checking device, mind you im speaking from riding that ajs bike where the speedo decided to pick a number between 1mph and 100mph every 1-2seconds feel for that guy who done his arm in though, its bad enough failing (not that i did that either but one can imagine) - without ending up with your arm in a sling on the way to hospital.

aye - i always nod - you get the odd grumpy git who wont nod back, but i would say i would get a response 75% of the time
