Hi Guys,
Hoping someone can help with this issue I'm having with an old Lexmoto Vixen i bought sold as seen. The advert clearly said 'starts and rides well', so i bought it online without seeing it. When it arrived it has obviously been dropped on its right side. I know all the obvious issues that come with taking this kind of gamble but having carried out a lot of repairs on the bike, i had expected it to be in a position to start.
Work i have done so far include:
new forks
upgraded indicators
new clutch lever
new front brake reservoir and lever set
new electric start
new battery
new front mudguard
new rear tyre
Obviously some cosmetic things there, but having completed this and fitted the new battery, when i turn the ignition on i get absolutely nothing. I've changed the fuse, checked the engine cutout switch position, checked the side stand switch and still nothing.
Only thing i haven't changed is the starter relay, but despite this being cheap and loathe to keep throwing money at it. Any thoughts/advice? Constructive would be prepared of course!
Have definitely learnt my lesson about buying unseen. Incidentally i have also logged a complaint against the seller, as this bike no where near matches the description.
Cheers all
