  1. Well we're aiming to get to matlock for 11am at the latest so maybe midday for cat and fiddle. Some time around there anywhere. I have to get back for 3 for the school run so can't be too much later. If we've got your number we can text you. Shame we dont' have a sign made that says TMBF on it for the webcam.
  2. I've got my camera charged up and ready to go. However, keep an eye on the Cat and Fiddle webcam and take some screen shots if you see us stood there pulling moony's or something similarly crass.
  3. Damn it. I was hoping this wouldn't be the case as I either have to buy an expensive Kenwood radio that does work VOX or buy a cheap Midland radio AND PTT cable. These modular systems are alright if the modular bits didn't cost an earth. The bloody cable from autocom unit to radio is going to be about £13.
  4. *Shows both hands now* Just got permission from the wife... I mean I stood there and told the bitch I was going and there's nothing she can do about it and if she opened her mouth to complain I'd giver her another black eye.
  5. *Shows his hand* cb1 there's a car park in matlock opposite a pub called fishponds or something where we meet. There a small cafe rotunda thingy there for food and drinks. Here's a link for you http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... +(Fishpond)&geocode=%3BCY6tc0M9JRgYFZiLKgMdUSTo_yHdN5-_Qh6olA&hl=en&mra=pe&mrcr=0&sll=53.289107,-1.898478&sspn=0.607486,1.230469&ie=UTF8&ll=53.275479,-1.871796&spn=0.303839,0.615234&z=11
  6. Dan will be getting to mine for 9am he says so after a cuppa and a chat we'll be at Matlock for no later than 11am then we can decide from there depending on who is turning up.
  7. Hey all. I'm interested in finding out peoples experiences with the autocom and midland g7 radio. From what i can gather it works ok but it sounds as though vox doesn't work so well so people end up buying PTT buttons too. So let me know what you think.
  8. It boils down to how much money have you got? For me it's a no brainer, budgets are tight and I'd HAVE to go for the cheaper one but obviously I'd want the newer one if I had the cash. Wish I had the choise to be honest.
  9. Is it me or were they moving him before they'd put a neck brace on. I know he had his head supported but I thought the neck brace was usually place on before any movement. Maybe para can clear this up.
  10. Not sure you mean hip mate, if the rumours, that I started, are anything to go by then you mean *****, **** or *****.
  11. I've got back after buying some stuff. The helmets were going quickly though and there was only one Large sized one left. They seem good quality however i have a long head and my chin was against the bottom part of the helmet. I hope i don't have this problem with the cabergs. I was actually amazed at the quality of the rain suits. I opened it and was shocked at how thick it was and that there was a lining. A word of warning though, I bought two, one for me and one for the wife and they wouldn't fit in my tank bag as they are quite bulky in the packaging. The pillion to rider comms seems good too. It even comes with a three year warranty. Pretty basic and doesn't come with an adapter for my iphone but does for some of the other phones on the market. also it takes two AAA batteries. Gloves seem high quality too and great for summer. I bought a pair so I can swap about if need be with my current pair when they get a bit sweaty. The lidl ones are are also windproof and waterproof. I bought the long sleeved motorcycle vest and trying it out right now and it seems cool. Nice fit, although it's not making me look like the model on the box. Not sure what the long johns are like though as i've not tried them on yet. Might wait till TheBint gets home and I can entertain her in my figure hugging underwear.
  12. Hi, I am in need of a new brake lever for my Suzuki GZ 125 maruader and wondered if anyone on here had a spare lying around. Apparently and according to a seller on ebay any of the bikes below have brake levers that fit my bike so was wondering if anyone had a spare one lying around in their garage. 13. I checked for my area the other day and there was one test slot available today but the rest were all in april. However those in april were all pretty much the same few days so it looks like there are slot available then. You need to book in march at the latest though from what I recall else you'll be doing the new test.
  14. If I can get the family to sodding move then then we'll be there in the car... hopefully.
  15. Was that due to the weather conditions or him taking it too fast?
  16. Sorry to hear that Ash. If there's anything I can do including being someone to chat too then let me know.
  17. I was told to have the rear brake on all the time and to really rev itwhile controling the speed with the clutch.
  18. That was two days ago Vicki, but thanks for bringing the subject up again.
  19. Exactly. Why move next to a race circuit and then complain about the noise? Why didn't the judge tell them to move if they don't like the noise?
  20. Well that will teach the Croft Circuit for moving in that area next to residential houses... or was it them that moved to the area knowing full well there was a race circuit there?
  21. A one piece rain suit.
  22. I think that's the way to go. Cheer's Phil.
  23. Ooooh, I like that idea Roy.
  24. So how can I speed my bike up, neither normal or super petrol helps that and I am NOT going to lose weight.
  25. Great lets arrange it.
