Just done a 70 mile ride around the glorious Peak District. Lovely day to be out on the bike. Not many other bikers though.

I realise that my opinions are not shared for which I apologise and will leave now.

Common sense seems to be sorely lacking in modern youth
I suppose you're infinitely more wise, because you just hand over all your dosh to a dealer to do these jobs for you? You come across a very bitter old man.
What a bunch of snowflakes. Grow some cojones. I spend my whole life dealing with people with zero common sense.

.... I spent most of my money on booze, motorbikes and sex.... I must have wasted the rest.....
That sounds like a George Best’ism

Just make sure that you count the notes out individually onto a surface. It’s very easy to use folded notes when counting.

That’s a ridiculous road surface.
It's a posh area where aesthetics outweigh safety

The only lesson learned = thank f%$k MT's have plastic panels surrounding the tank for easy replacement when you tarnish them!
Wouldn't it have been so much easier to put a cloth over the area before starting !!

And the lesson you have learned from this episode is?

first thing I'd is get a multimeter. They are so cheap and you really need one for this type of work.

Where is that horrible roundabout? Just so I can make sure I never find myself on it! It amazes me how councils build / mark roads and never get sued for killing or injuring somebody.

well if you are resigned to a new panel then try acetone. If it works great, if not then get a new panel. Or just live with it and see what happens when you wash it.

That was lucky, marriage saved then.

Just found where Pinoso Spain is. It really doesn't matter which route through France you take, they are all good for where you are heading for.

If you really want to go to Paris follow sat nav to a hotel with underground car park and then visit on foot or public transport. Riding or driving around Paris is not much fun. If you want to just go round Paris use the Peripherique outside the rush hour and keep your wits about you. But there are M'ways that go round Paris eg the A86 and then head for the A6 Autoroute du Soleil or down the A20 past Limoges towards Spain or further west go down the A10 towards Bordeaux and then towards Pau to cross the Spanish border through the Pyrenees. I have done all these routes and they all have advantages and disadvantages. It depends on where in Spain you are heading for and how long you want to spend doing it.

I know, Holy thread resurrection ya but I find myself asking this very question, having bust off my givi top box on poynton roundabout earlier today having slid across it.
Hi Beans yes I know that roundabout well, and have even skidded on it in the car when it was wet. Hope you get it all sorted.

I was toying with the idea of getting one of those especially as there is over £3k off the 2020 model now.
