  19. Heyy y'all My question today would be this: The biting point on my clutch is really close to the lever being fully open and my little hands it cn be a struggle to let it out smoothly. (spose after time i would get used to it) but its really uncomfortable. But is there anyway i can change the point of bitin with a cltuch adjstment or something? or jst a new lever will do it (and if this is a way will any lever fit?) Thanks muchlyy Josh x
  20. WalneyFrankie Your suspisions are correct - cable from speedo to front wheel. Now my next question would be.. do i have to find a speedo to fit a certain bracket or something.. im not too sure how my one is fixed to the bike as its dark outside and wnt to be sure. Thanks Josh x
  21. be patient cooper hard i know :/ but untill someone has the answer no-one is gnna reply. hope all goes well Josh x
  22. is your speedo driven by a cable and drive by the wheel? if so then look on the web for a universal speedo, (found for customs etc) or a speedo of a similar bike to yours, afterall a busa speedo showing in excess of 150mph will be useless on a 125.. and visa versa.. i changed the speedo on my gs650gx as it had a yamaha one fitted (bike was a Suzuki) for one of a GS650 GL.. however something to note, you cannot confirm the exact mileage and this must be stated if you ever sell the bike.. unless you know the old mileage reading and the mileage reading on the replacement to start from.. or if it is new therefore 17500 miles speedo replaced with new so old = 17500, new = 2500, therefore mileage = 20000. but have documentation to back it up or pics, dated. Thanks for the info will ave a check and keep you all updated if i have anymore queries.. trouble with my bike is that the pervious owner changed speedo to a second hand speedo soo mileage is not known. i think the previous speedo had something like 52k or somethng he said but the new one :/ lol. Thanks Josh x
  23. i did my CBT a few months ago.. id never stepped on a motorbike (ridden that is i sat on my daddy's one lol) and my riding school was excellent. Helped doin it on my own as the other guy didnt turn up.. but they were patient with it. Any advice id give is the simplest things.. they are there to teach you, dnt be worried about soundin silly and askin questions u may deem stupid. I bet you someone else has worried bout the same thing.. jst be open and be sure you understand what they are talkin about. Get em to repeat, go into more basics, etc. Better to be Safe, than sorry? Riding school i used was ADS motorcycle training in LetchworthGardenCity.(hertfordshire) i passed first time Josh x
  24. Thanks Para i think i will ring the local mechanics and see wht they say or the breakers yard thingy anyone else know? Josh x
  25. thanks for quickreply.. i will do when i got the time to right a biography hehe Do i need a specfici speedo or will any one that fits it will work? JoshTimmins (1982 hondaCM125c)
