So trying to get my 2001 CBR600f on its centre stand today, i dropped it on its right hand side. Was pissssed, but was lucky. Nothing "broke". Brake lever bent back and scratched buggary out of the exhaust, fairing and anything else that side. Not worried about the exhaust as its the underside and hardly visible. Brake levers i was planning on replacing anyways. Only problem is the bloody fairing. The decals are slightly scratched off, and the paintwork is slightly scratched. What would you guys suggest? Ive already been on the bay looking for replacement panels, but was wondering if their was any small jobs that could be done to make it more cosmetically pleasing in the meantime. Buffing? Taking it to a shop for a touch of black paint? Or just forget it and buy the damn panel?
