  1. After reading the first page I was excited for page 2 expecting some photos or further update but now I feel robbed
  2. That is very gracious of you, thank you so much. As it turns out I may be in Birmingham this weekend so would take a spin up to Macclesfield and check it out. But if not, I may very well take you up on your offer. Thank you so much once again. No problem let me know, obviously better to look yourself if your in Birmingham weekend your probably only looking at about 1.5-2 hours drive
  3. I’ve only been in there once and the bikes were literally so close they were touching, I live about 15 minutes away and I pretty pass Macclesfield on every ride out into the Peak District so I can go and pretend to be interested and get some close up photos and give you my own opinion on it if you really wanted
  4. Find another route if you find it uncomfortable?
  5. Never really understood this myself, when I’m out in the car or van I find myself saying pick your bloody feet up whilst they drag along
  6. Yeah definitely mate especially if it hasn’t come from a dealer
  7. Surely if you rode motocross you’d be concerned if the bike had the same oil within a month never mind over a year. Won’t hurt to drop it out and put some fresh in, also should of been changed after the run in period usually around 600 miles so if it hasn’t got a stamp I’d definitely be changing the oil.
  8. It’s easy to do as the dealers want to sell you a bike at the end of the day, try and get a trade in price on your bike before you reveal what you owe as the dealer will try and match it when you could be in positive equity if that makes sense.
  9. There’s a shell garage on the A556/A49 cross road it’s only a few minutes drive away, you’ll probably pass it depending on which direction your coming from
  10. Oulton park usually has fuel on site but don’t expect it to be cheap!
  11. I tend to wear under armour heat gear under my suit/clothes when I ride as it’s designed to wick away sweat and dry fast, also depends what type of riding you do if it’s a lot of slow speed stuff you tend to sweat more as your not being blasted by the cold wind as you would if you was riding big open roads.
  12. Started working with a new lad a few years ago (still works at our place but rarely see each other) and he must of had the weakest bladder in the world always wanting to stop at the services on the motorway and most mornings he would nip into Greggs too, when asked what I wanted the first couple of time I said I’ll just have one of them sausage, cheese and bean pasties. I never had to ask for one again they used to just come for free (I can only assume for the inconvenience of me having to stop) then one day he just blurts out you eat so much of them I’m going to start calling you bean! Obviously I laughed and said I’ve not actually asked for one for weeks I just eat them or save them for dinner. Word got around the other lads and this developed from bean to beansie and has stuck ever since. Loads of lads have come and gone and never even called me by my real name but the majority of them don’t even know why. So like it or not I’m stuck with my first ever nickname... after a pasty!
  13. Fair play for using the search button but I’d be amazed if any of the original posters replied to this
  14. Never bought from there myself but been for a nosey and all the bikes are crammed in together, there was even an indicator hanging off one from where it had been hitting another bike. Also a fair few with other visible damage so I’d advise going having a good look before you think of parting with your money.
  15. Might go to this if I manage to get time!
  16. Speedy Gonzales 🏍
  17. I’ve always thought this stuff was a quick repair kit to get you to the nearest garage up to around 50 miles and then you needed a new tyre no matter what cause it had this gunk pumped into it?
  18. This is true, doesn’t have to be the most beautiful machine as long as it gives you that freedom feeing of having a bike
  19. Thanks guys I’ll have to check them all out, data isn’t an issue I’ve got a company phone with unlimited everything just want to be able to create a route easily and then go and follow it! Main problem is I tend to just go out and ride the same roads all the time so looking to spread my riding area.
  20. Bought an Ultimate Addons handlebar phone mount yesterday from the Manchester bike show, tried it out for a quick ride yesterday and it works well. Now I’m looking for a recommendation of a good navigation app to use whilst riding and preferably one I can upload a route to before I go out so I don’t have to mess around with it whilst I’m out if this exists? Tia
  21. Not really a meet but there’s a motorbike show on at event city if that’s something you’d be interested in
  22. Change the cylinder for a thumb turn then you won’t get locked out again
  23. Track bike ofcourse!
  24. Not sure how all noise cancelling headphones work but the ones I have only actively cancel noise out when listening to music, pure bliss on a flight that’s for sure!
