  1. Well done!! Don't leave it too long to jump on the "big" bike, you won't regret it!!
  2. Awesome trip mate, just wish my other half was remotley interested in going out on the bike so we could do something like this!!
  3. The head set has to support bluetooth stereo to work with music, I have a sony thing that works as both hands free and headphones. Your Galaxy should definatley support it http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/275-8673970-5 ... lla-search
  4. I only have my draggin jeans and a leather jacket. In the summer I just wear them and in the winter its the same but I put an old skiing jacket over the top of my leather and a pair of winter gloves! Can't really afford to buy a set for winter and a set for summer......
  5. iI use this stuff, http://www.muc-off.com/shop/product.php?id=302 ,lasts for a few days before you need to re-apply (this harsh weather is more a case of 1-2 days tops!) Its only about £6 so I thought it was worth a punt instead of getting a pin lock which I can't get for my lid !
  6. There is a .JPG on here somewhere of the layout of all test centers. I am sure someone will know where it is!!
  7. If that doesn't work, give it a harder tap with a bigger hammer.......
  8. tHE STICKER ON THE FRAME OF EACH BIKE WILL TELL YOU THE MAXIMUM CARRYING CAPACITY OF EACH BIKE! i DON'T THINK A PUSH BIKE WOULD BE TOO HEAVY AS BE COUNTED AS OVERLOADING IT! Edit: Sorry about the caps.........
  9. Think of it as a game mate, practise trying to get a high score on the clips! Find out where the sweet spot for getting 4-5 points per click and then once you have that sussed it should just come easily..... Good luck for next time!!!!
  10. Based soley on looks, I'd go with the scorpian!!
  11. Don't pull the clutch in till your just about to come to a stop, it will help with the braking without the fear of locking wheels up. If you stall you have a few seconds to get it going again ( I was told about 3...). And always remember to do a lifesaver when you have stopped or it could ear you a minor. If you can drop it into second when you first start to brake, again the engine braking will help you slow much better.
  12. Any time you alter your road position, including pulling off you NEED to do a lifesaver! I just did em every few minutes on my MOD2, better to be safe and overly cautious on the test than sorry........ As far as the pillion questions go they are fairly self explanatory, just common sence really, there should be a guide on here with some of the questions and answers on it. I cant find it for you as I am in work today......
  13. Both my CBT and DAS instructors told me to keep cancelling my turn signals every couple of minutes. That way i you have left em on they'll go off and if you haven't, then no harm done! Good luck on the re test mate!!
  14. I think most helmet manufacturers will advise every 2 years. UV rays do damage a helmet as does the obvious drop or spill, 2-3 years is probably a good amount of time to replace your lid. chances are that you'll be bored of 1 by themn anyways........
  15. Sorry, I was just being stupid and not reading the posts... It's about 60 miles from door to site for me so I might very well scoot down and meet you guys! is the plan still to set off for a ride at about 12? I will ask a few of my mates if they fancy coming along too!! EDIT: f**king cunty bollocks fish sticks. I am now working on saturday as I have to fill in for the manager. Can't moan too much it'll get me an extra £50 ontop of my normal basic and I make good commission on a Saturday. Next time I WILL definatley come though......
