  1. Hey everyone, My 2 years for my CBT is coming to an end now. I was wondering do i need to do it again if i have passed my theory? Or do i also need to have passed my full license? Cheers
  2. Update: Found out it was the fuse. Replaced it. Then i had to find out what caused the fuse to trip. My front light had stop working so i replaced that and it seems to be working fine. Seems the broken light triped it. Only thing i could think of.
  3. Will be going all of this on Sunday. Thanks for the advice everyone.
  4. 2007, i have the manual at home so i shall go through it. One more more, i dont know much about bikes and terms, so what do you mean by rec/reg? Cheers
  5. Sorry didnt explain that bit properly. Nope, while still in neutral. Like it makes all the right noises and such while trying to start it, but when the kick start works (after a few times of trying it) it dies straight away and the engine light flicks on then dies with it.
  6. Hey everyone, Heres what happend... Driving to work for about 5 mins. Engine light came on and killed the engine. Electrics were still working, however i thought if i turned it on and off it would all work again and that it just needed a reset. When i turned it back on, none of the electronics worked. However, if i kick start it the electrics start to working and engine is sounding normal. But when it goes to start the engine light comes on and kills it. Any ideas people? Cheers
  7. Okay, if i stop in gear 3 i cant go down to gear 2 while stationary, i have to rock it abit sometimes. So i take it that the examiner doesnt mind if i have to do rock it abit to get it down to gear 2?
  8. Hey everyone! Im going to be booking my A2 bike test soon. Im abit confused about how to carry out the Emergency stop properly. My main question really is, while im doing the stop, say if im in gear three, am i ment to be going down gears while i stop? Or am i just ment to stay in gear three? Also, once i have came to a complete stop, i am ment to put my foot down? Thanks! Nic
  9. Thank you both! Standard it is then. I now fully understand All of you have been well helpful!
  10. Okay, i think i understand it, i need to ask one more question. See on this site where it says book now... http://www.direct.gov.uk/prod_consum_dg ... 86302.html When selecting bike, would i be doing Big Bike Mod 1/2? Thanks!
  11. Ah okay that makes sense actually. Ill contact some places tomorrow and see if they do it or not. Thanks again!
  12. Thank you both for your replies, has made it alot clearer to me Thank you for that link, looking through it now for details that i need. If i think i am capable enough would i just book myself in for a Mod 1 then a Mod 2? (After ringing up and making sure they do the A2 restriccted licence)
  13. Hello everyone, Im 17 and i want to do the A2 restriccted licence test for my 18th birthday. However im extreamly confused about where i can do this and what it involves. Ive looked around the forum stickys and inless ive missed somthing im still lost. Ive looked around my loca motorbike centres and none of them do the A2 restriccted licence course, its either the CBT or the DAS. I have a few questions, if you could answer any or point out where im going wrong please say Is there certain centres which do the A2 restriccted licence? Does the A2 restriccted licence involve the same stuff as the DAS test? I live in Epsom in Surrey, if anyone coudl point out a centre where i could go and do this test it would be great. Im sorry if ive totally missed something and asked a obvious question, im just really confused. Thanks, Nic
