thanks for all the help and info im off to try some helmets and leathers on this weekend

well will be booking my cbt followed by a DAS in the next month cant wait to get started on it all,would be doing it sooner but am away for a few weeks soon. anyway im looking to get helmet,gloves,leathers,boots and anything else i will need ? im just after some good makes for me to start of with any help will be great i have a budget of around 1k to spend on it all prob not enouth for the top brand stuff but is it enough to get some good stuff ? links to sites to look on would be good aswell if you know of any not sure if you can post links on the site but feel free to pm me them thanks for any help

well went for a trial so to speak yesterday he said if i can come in on sat then do a course of 4 days i should pass at the end with no trouble

thanks for that looks like i will have to do module 1 at glouster and then either module 2 there or worcester.

hi all looked on the dsa site but cant work out what the code means on there maps ? im in herefordshire where would my local test centre be for the new test ? i see there is one in worcester and glouster would these both cover the new test ?

well phoned the guy i done my previous cbt with and he said pop in next sat and he will let me have a go on his yard see what i can do then he will advise on what to go for

hi all well i think i have 3 options to do my test just wondering which you guys and girls did or which you think will be best ? 1. take the cbt get a 125 and ride it around for 6 months toget some practice in ? 2. take the cbt then have some lessons on a bigger bike and take the DAS ? 3.take cbt and do a 5 day intensive course ? what do you guys think ? i have rode bikes before but not for well over 2 years ?

Yea I personaly think its good it lasts that long that way if u do the 1st module Just after you pass the therory you have 2 years to pass the 2nd module which I'm thinking by what I have read may be the easier part ?

just found out the 1st part of the test once past will be valid for as long as you theory test is so if you have 1 year left on your therory when you pass module one you have one year to pass module 2 hope this makes sence ?

hi all well looks like i will be takeing the new test this year. my question is it a 2 part test ? one part in test centre carpark ? the other out on the road ? from what i have just read on the dsa site if i have read right ? you can pass the 1st part then do secound part on another day ? is this right ? and if it is how long does the 1st part last ? or have i read it all wroung ?
