  1. Don't get on here much, but thought a heads up about PRESTIGE MOTORBIKE COVERS and PRESTIGE CAR COVERS (Gateshead TYne & Wear) would be useful to you guys

Basically, if you're in the market for and outdoor/indoor cover, my advice is to go straight to SPECIALISED COVERS (Shipley Yorks). They actually manufacture the covers that PRESTIGE market as their own. But PRESTIGE seem to be a one man band that simply orders from SPECIALISED. My experience has been that PRESTIGE were reluctant to communicate after my order was placed and paid for. The guy that is supposed to run it (Scott) never returns calls and is never available to receive calls, the only contact is a clueless soul on the end of the phone who seems unable to do anything. The whole experience for me was frustrating to say the least, but after many phone calls/emails, the cover finally arrived - direct from SPECIALISED COVERS!!!!! Quality of the cover seems OK, but it hasn't seen rain yet, so will post again in due course

    Wugz

  2. I think he would of been fine if he didn't try to save it, keeping the wheels on the ground is what took him back across the track instead of sliding away to the gravel.

Spot on. The bike was on its ear. No way would he have saved it. If only he had let it go, but that's fate. Ride In Peace fella

  3. Ah well, I,m off Thursday?

    No can do - working.

Still, didn't need new tyre & got puncture repaired so had a run to Hastings after all. Got there about 1.0pm (can't believe it costs to park the bike - like WTF do you display a ticket without it getting nicked!!!). Nobody around so ran on to Rye harbour to grab some lunch then A's & B's back home. Glorious day, few plod, blue skies, bike didn't miss a beat, great lunch & 150 fun miles. Couple of downers - some roads are in an atrocious condition SO STAY ALERT AT ALL TIMES PEEPS. I was Billy-No-Mates for the day. Still, a much enjoyed blast. Roll on Summer

  4. It's all very quite in this neck of the woods so .........

..... are there any chaps or chapessess in or around the Bexley area who fancy meeting up with others occasionally for an evening or weekend ride out?

Had my first ride of the year yesterday under blue sky & it felt good. An intended couple hours turned into a half day and 150 miles, so come on you lot - Summer is on its way

Mines a cool classic - '92 Viffer in metallic dark green

  5. Im from Sidcup and I always see alot of bikes, but they are always either "big bikes" going at Mach3 or 50cc 16 year olds in their Mckenzie Tracksuits and T-Shirts....

Would be nice to meet a few of the people on here....

I ride a 125 myself, don't know anyone in the area who rides but I know people still meet occasionally by Blackheath Tea Hut....

Don't fret dj :crybaby: . Sure there's enough Bexley locals around to arrange a bibble one Sunday afternoon. Barry (bwhiti) is in Welling & soon to get his Marauder 125 back on the road. Some nice routes near the Weald & they're not too far. Wish you'd all get some 'proper' bikes though lol. What bike do you ride?
