  1. I will try and make it depending if I get my suzuki by then, and weather permitting, or I'm taking my car on a Rolling Road day
  2. There is also some A roads in Wales, i think the A51 where no one can go on with L plates
  3. Yep £500, and same engine and running gear as CBR125. And cheapest half decent 2006 cbr125 is about £1500
  4. I know lol, just wanted to reply
  5. New keys and barrels are being supplied
  6. Both me and my mate have been told this when police pulled up behind us when they chatted with us. It could of just been a copper with a grudge, or just having a bad day
  7. Be careful, some ar*ehole coppers will try and do you for undue care and attention if you have headphones in listening to music. Stupid but some coppers really hate bikers and will try and do you for the smallest things
  8. So i'm looking at an imported bike which is 4 years old but never started as the key was lost. As its been sitting for all this time, what would need to be done before firing it up for the first time. Its a 125cc 4 Stroke
  9. I've found the problem, the fuel pressure regulator was jammed in safety mode which meant it wouldn't let any fuel out. Sorted now, so ready for sale so I can get my DAS done
  10. I'm just clarifying, do you know its had a new rectifier fitted, i.e. did you see your old rectifier, looked to see if the one fitted was new. Some garages are there just to rip you off as they know your not sure whats what, its so easy for a garage to say its this and that.
  11. I had the same problem with my joyride. I went to a bike garage and they kept telling me it was the alternator, and was going to cost me £300, so I stripped the scoot myself and felt that the rectifier was that hot it could melt plastic, so it was my rectifier, I would never let anyone do repairs to any of my vehicles unless I know them. I believe everyone is there to rip you off. I changed my own rectifier at the cost of £30 for a second hand one from my local breakers. Rectifiers go very easily if say your hitting top speed constantly it throws that much charge which just kills the rectifier. Just have your scoot ticking over for 10 minutes and feel your rectifier
  12. I have found why my peugeot jetforce 125 efi isn't starting and thats because no fuel was being sent from the pump to the injector. I traced it to a relay which was clicking when the ignition was turned on. I then spent 3 hours finding somewhere that sells the relay I needed. But as soon as I put the relay in and turned on the ignition, it blew again. If I earth the connection to the relay connector the fuel pump will start working. Can anyone help me out here, as electrics is where I get stumped.
  13. I've paid alot of cash already trying to fix it. I want to keep it now, as I love the look of it. The engine is fine, its the injection parts that just don't work as they should. All peugeots are the same.
  14. Ok I will go get my parka, and sta-press trousers on, and go for a ride

  16. I am having no end of trouble with my Peugeot Jetforce 125 EFI scooter. It currently has In-direct injection, which is a pain in the arse, and just keeps going wrong. I have seen 50cc Peugeot engines being converted from injection to carb, but they are 2 stroke direct injection. If mine can be converted to Carb, how easy would it be to convert, and what would the costs be to convert it?
  17. Yes, it is. As you get across to the N/S, curb, then there is normally ruts which small wheels will fall into and pull the moped cloder to the curb. And also crap builds up to the curb side as cars push it over. So best to stay in middle or to the right and pull to the middle to let cars past. Thats in my experience of riding a restricted moped.
  18. I've just changed the rollers in my scooter and now it just turns over and won't start. I'm baffled, i've put everything back as it was before, its just not starting. And it doesn't have a kickstart, so I don't know what to check or do
  19. Hi, I bought a Peugeot Jetforce 125 EFI in October, and a couple of weeks ago I got it running with a new injector. But it has a very obvious misfire, the revs bounce when idling, and when held on the revs, i.e. at 7000, it will bounce from 6500 to 7500. Also when it is getting warm, about 75 celcius it was losing power, but this could of been the clutch dragging, which I have now replaced. Can anyone give me any insight into what could be causing the misfire. And does anyone know where I can buy a Peugeot Dignostic tool from, or a garage local to Stoke On Trent that has one.
  20. Hey, Did you go on the 10th with loads of people from UKMN and AC? Yes I did. There was 6 of us left for the final game as everyone was moaning about the cold
  21. The one in Madeley is amazing, I played there the other week in the snow. I went abit mad and used 2300 paintballs, which cost over £100. Compared to other venues I have been Unreal in Madeley have better playing areas, and games seem to last ages there.
  22. Forgot to say, the revs will go all the way to redline since I put fresh petrol in it, and forgot to mention it has been sitting for 6 months.
  23. Its a 125cc 4 Stroke 4 Valve, Indirect Injection, Auto. I've investigated the problem with my clutch which was the clutch bell had gone purple due to overheating, so a new clutch will be going in soon. Now when I start up the bike the revs bounce at idle, and when revved it takes a while for the revs to rise, and the revs also bounce when rising. Also it seems to have no guts to it, taking ages to pull off but that could be due to the clutch. Heres a video of the revs http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n281/djowen01/th_VID00010.jpg
  24. Best to get a compression test done to check to see if a gasket has gone
  25. I will have a go at it, brackets will be made up and welded to the pipe. Just want to keep my mate occupied while hes out of work
