  1. Whitby is on my list of places to do next year, and I have a guide in mind to show a few of us the way up there.

But a mass invasion sounds good too.

Torn now.... hmmm, ok, problem solved.... will do it TWICE

Let us know the when's, the where's, the how's and the why's and I'll try an clear a space in my currently empty 2008 diary :(

Oh an, hi sheepy, how ya doing mate? Long time no speak. I blame long, cold, dark nights, lol 8)

  2. From the little ive seen of him, from watchin his body language he seems to have a bad attitude problem.....but then again, look at Schumacher!

Yes, that's what it is about him... I knew there was just something about his whole aura, the way he's put up on this pedestal, thats it, he's being shaped into this schumacher clone!

So glad I can't stand F1, lol, they have 2 too many wheels for one thing!

  3. the petrol cap doesn't fit properly. well, it DOES fit, but it doesn't lock.

This isn't my bike btw, lol

Not sure if it makes a sucking sound or not.

    And breather pipes what?

Sorry, lost track after "good blow"

  4. Interesting point..... :?

Not sure about that, will have to do some reading up I reckon.

But on the face of it, it would appear to run fine under gravity when full, and then gets starved after not very much mileage.

    Certainly sounds a feasable option!

Another thing which makes me think its being starved of fuel is the plug was dry after trying to start it.

Would I be wrong to think that at least 'some' fuel would make the plug slightly wet?

  5. I don't think it has a vacuum pipe, or if it does, I haven't spotted it yet, and it wasn't ever attached to the tank in the first place.

I know the fuel filter in the carb is clean coz its brand new, but I think there is a filter in the tap too. although I'm not certain about that.

The bike seems ok with a full tank, but at anything less than full, it 'appears' to be starved of fuel. :?

  6. Petrol tank is off the bike, sat on a workbench and is virtually full of fresh fuel. When I turn the tap, petrol pours out. With me so far?

Is it in anyway possible for fuel to not come out when the tank is back on the bike, connected up to the carbs?

Any possible chance an airlock or a split hoses somewhere 'could' prevent fuel getting from the tank to the carbs?

Just after ideas at the mo.

  7. Just looking out me window and rememberd I need to get some more engine oil for me trusty steed.

Got to thinking rather than calling at the local shop and picking up whatever he's got in, I wondered which oils people use and swear by, and which ones are best avoided?

  8. have to get her test booked and get her a 'proper' bike. THATS what we need to do, lol

She lusts after a thundercat, always has done, always will do, won't be happy till she's got one.

so thats it, RS is going to fund test, then next year, work our asses off to get Mrs Snoops a bike.

I keep telling her if I can have a GSXR750 or Fireblade, she is totally and completely more than welcome to have my CBR600, but she won't have any of it

  9. it was great at Matlock Bath full stop, love that place :D

Was gonna go up the Cat for a proper cuppa but needed to get back to sort some bits an bobs :?

Had a brilliant run up there and on the way back.

Took Mrs Snoopy pillion coz the RS is shagged.

  10. Might be there early afternoon today if anyone else is around.

Not 100% sure, gotta see how the day pan's out.

Goin Piccies in a min for a free admission viewing, so if t' suns still owt afta that, oi'l be reet tempted ta git t' bike oot!

Even though the barsteward little aprillia finally gave up the game yesterday :(
