  1. I realise this, but it's am imperfect world. you should sit and wait untill someone courteous does come along to let you out. I know its boring and I know its slow but why inconveniance everyone on the other side of the road because you cant be bothered to wait politely for 2 minutes?

if it was a queue to get into a theme park and someone pushed in halfway down the line it would be a whole different story! I cant see why people dont just wait their turn.

Because when I'm at work if I've sat waiting politely waiting for someone to let me out I'm going to miss delivery/collection times at clients I'll sit for a while but coming out of an industrial estate with 4 or 5 artics behind me...

  2. make sure your clutch lever is at the right angle to suit you. some bikes have levers that are way too horizontal and cause pain as it forces your wristback too far. try loosening the allen bolts and positioning the lever at an angle that you find comfy.

ensure thats its tightened up when done and that it doesnt foul anything like the tank or fairing. go ride and test it.

there are other causes for wrist pain when riding but are less likely than sore muscle or incorrect lever angle. carpel tunnel syndrome is one; if you are one of the unlucky ones who is likely to suffer from this anyway, biking can bring it on much much sooner. the operation to remedy it is not nice.

The ops a doddle...I just lay there, The next 4 weeks not riding are going to be the pits

  3. What camera have you got JBK? Are you planning in keeping it or you lining to sell it?

  4. I dont think there is enough photographers on here for "willy waving" and not seen any of the competitive ones yet!

So if you have any pro advice share it and hopefully if anyone does disagree they wont be stuck up about it :)

This is why I steer clear of most urbex sites now as many argue photographic styles for the sake of it and cause people to be less open about what could be good advice to many.

I'll competitively wave my willy....Once the temperature rises

  5. Perhaps photograph a motorbike in the reflection of some chrome of another bike (you will probably need a Harley shop for this :D )

  6. Yeah but after 120 miles and a face full of cake most of us just want to talk and ride lol. It's a leisure ride not a race the traditional Sunday morning club run. You can do double thru and off 4 abreast tho that's very efficient.

Edit to say double thru and off I only do on track/velo.

A friend of mine had a head on in dense fog, he was following the centre white lines on a b road & went head on into another cyclist doing the same thing !

Have you ever set off a gatso on cycle ?

When I was young and fit I got stopped for doing 36 in a thirty But it was at the bottom of a big hill and it was a traffic car not a camera
