Nice one.. sounds like you did well with the figure of 8..
You will soon have mod2 done and dusted
-
You will need a few days practice i can assure you. going from the CBT along time ago you will of picked up bad habits.. yeah it seems a waste of money but in the long run it will save you loads if you have some practice for mod1 and mod 2..
Unless you are a awesome rider that is!!!
-
The examiner is not looking for absolute perfection, just a good, safe, largely correct ride.
You are permitted to make up to 5 riding (minor) faults on the Module 1 Test and up to 10 riding (minor) faults on the Module 2 Test and still pass. Any fault regarded as serious or dangerous will result in a fail of that particular Module.

dose any one know where there is a place that can sort my carbs, ive taken the jets out put them in a sonic tank for a good clean.. Still runs rubbish on very low revs
I mite need the carb balance now, but i cant find any where that dose it??
Any ideas

I've never slow-ridden since passing mod1, I didn't even slow ride on mod2...
Am I the only one? Seems strange that there's so much emphasis on slow riding yet I've never done it since.
have you not done slow riding in traffic at rush hour time for instance? Ive done it loads since i passed my test

Keep your foot on the back brake but not too hard, rev the bike a fair bit and let the clutch out just till the bike starts to move..
easy

what time do you set off from the BP garage?
-
As the weather is slowly picking up, and getting warmer and also staying lighter at night I think I will start riding to Stormy Petrel on Thursday nights.
I normally meet up with my mates at BP petrol station on Talke Roundabout, ST7 1SA.
Then ride through Newcastle Under Lyme to Stormy Petrel, Tern Hill, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 3QD.
Just PM me if you fancy a ride out, and I will pass on my mobile number to you.
I ride a 125cc, so anyone can come and I won't ride off and leave if your uneasy on the twisties.
I mite have a ride up there. ive only ever been once last year.

ive checked the fuel pipes and the plug gaps. everything i seem to do dosen cure it? I wonderif to get another set of leads?
-
Well since Ive got the bike out of the shed last month its been running crap.
Once its started it runs fine, then it seems as tho once its warm it has a miss fire. Ive put fresh fuel in twice, cleaned the carb bowels out which didn't seem to be too bad, put a new set of plugs in and it still runs crap. When riding it will pull ok when the throttle is open at high revs but soon as i let off the power it will run on 3 cylinders (i think)
I cant for the life of me find the problem with it.. Its as though there is a fuel problem but then on the other hand its seems like a spark plug goes down now and again???
Any ideas what else i can try before i take it to a garage as i last resort??
