Hmm, after looking at it again the wording in the original post does look like it is his only helmet.. Apologies.

Some people seem to have gone off on a tangent here, he only asked if the paint would react with the fiberglass, nothing about wearing it or using the helmet after painting.

One of the blokes on the Fazer site organises a ride around rutland with a pub lunch stop in the middle, I've asked if it would be open to others from sites i go on and he's quiet happy for me to open the invite to yourselves.

The run is well organised and quiet a few bikes turn up, there will be an assortment of bikes and riders, solo and two up.

The run starts and finishes at the Extra services near Peterborough (those who met up for the Matlock meet will know it well)

There is quiet a comprehensive map on the link and a menu for the pub, those interested leave your names on here so i can get back to him with numbers to book the pub.

I will be meeting a couple of my mates who are going at junc 30 M1 0915 hrs. Anyone from the north of the midlands area like me, wanna meet here then we will be leaving at 0915 ish. There is a big layby on the barlborough / mcdonalds side of the junction.

I'm hoping thats left off the M1 if coming from the north?! It's easier for me to go over the M180/M18/M1 than try and accross country if i need to be there for a certain time. I'll try and see you there before 9.

I just used a bit of chain lube on mine four years ago, squeak's never been back since.

I'd like to go but being on me own they have no accom for just me and don't know that many biker people who would be interested
