  1. Fully comp. and always have done. My premiums are pretty low anyway. Only made one claim in over 25 years and that claim was against Third Party.

I have never asked the cost of third party but would imagine it to be about the same as I am paying now. Some companys increase the premiums on third party insurance..

  2. Whats the milage of the chain and sprockets?

The front sprocket could be trashed, this needs to be changed at least twice for every chain and rear sprocket. might be worth a look.

  3. few tips:

Make sure you have the right tools to do the job.

Oil filter is the correct one, check before removing old one.

correct oil type and viscocity. semi or fully synthetic.

Also a replacement copper washer for the drain plug, not essential but I always change this when doing the oil.

    Warm oil before draining...

smear the rubber seal on the new filter with a drop of new oil before fitting, gives a better seal.

    Hope this helps..

  4. if you get there early on Saturday, you could grab a bargain or two..

At the BMF show at Peterborough earlier in the year I managed to grab a pair of (Slight) seconds Triumph Cordura trousers for £10.00. The only thing wrong was on of the poppers on a pocket was missing.. Bargain. Anothe item was a smart leather jacket for £50.00 with elbow and back protectors included. A steal..

But for the best deal,, camp over, party all night and shop all day but without the need to rush as you ain't got to get home..

Great live bands on in the evenings including James Toseland's "Crash", fun fair, beer and food outlets. with wall to wall bikes, what more do you want.

  5. Looking forward to it.

Anyone else going, come and say hi. We have a club stand there, located on the main route between club village and the show stalls.

Just look out for two large flags with Wmmcc on.

  6. We went on the Sunday, Knew I was going to be buying loads so took the car.

Got there around 10:00 and stayed till 17:30. I managed to pick up a couple of bargains, New leather jacket for £50.00,some cordura trousers for £10.00 and a Givi sat nav holder that straps to the bars, completely water proof, so now I don't have to hide the sat nav under the seat and get to see the screen.

Mrs bought some kevlar jeans also £10.00. Mate who went with us spent a fortune at the power bronze stand but got himself a hugh discount into the bargain.

Great day out,,got back home knackered.

  8. As above...fantastic day out but it was spoilt by the lack of information being passed out at the Airfield.. we was there at 10;00 and in a queue of bikes for 3+ hours with no movement. they where letting rows of bikes out 2 at a time. Problems began to arise as when one row was leaving some people who had only just got to the Airfield was jumpming onto the back of the row that was leaving. meaning those that had waited their turn then had to wait even longer.

Once we got moving thougfh it was a great day. well supported by the locals of WB, finished the day off at The Red Lion in Avebury..

One last thing....I gave one bike Cop a wave and a smile as he did his bit and held up the traffic,,,he gave me that look as to say F**K You... thanks mate.
