That emergency braking system looks a bit primitive .
Have an emergency lever for it

I have a Beowulf exhaust on my Fazer, which sounds amazing(not like stubby one, more like deep and full sound), not trackday loud but loud enough, it grumbles and pops on ovverun, without the baffle, and the engine seems to like it, no flat spots.
They actually do an exhaust for your bike: https://beowulfuk.com/product/honda-cbr600-f4i-01-06-silencer/
The quality is good, i didn't have any problems fitting the end can on some unknown stainless downpipes.
But as other have said, you have delkevic as well, or black widow...
link with the sound:
That really does sound great thank you for that and the prices are very attractive, same goes with Fuel exhausts also mentioned.
Sports bike direct priced matched a Yoshi from another site which is good but is there really going to be much of a quality difference for the extra money?
They had it at £380 and matched to £340

I have been looking at delkevic and have read good things.
I have been watching videos of Yoshimura and I may be in love lol but finding stockists is rather difficult

Hi all,
I have a 2001 CBR600 which is totally standard, it purrs beautiful and sings wide open but I would like a sportier note without being track day loud.
I have the broad strokes of decent brands but having a hard time hearing any expect from on videos which do not do them justice.
My predicament, how to I sample them before making a choice?
I’m going slip on not the whole system.
I would like a deeper burble without sounding like a wee fanny in a corsa
Any input/experience welcome
Thanks

Still available?

I noticed that as well, when I was at the centre waiting for Mod 1 there was instructors from another school chatting and they wished me luck as did my instructor to their student.
When I started I heard so many horror stories about examiners out to get people and the whole process being a nightmare but that honestly wasn’t my experience.
Definitely nerve racking but was very fair and no hidden traps.
Especially the Shieldhall centre gets such a bad rap, I worried more than I should have for nothing.
I was never a big Harley fan, but when in Rome as they say lol
-
I have heard good things about them.
I used ride on and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
At first I thought the testing was excessive but just now I am out in America riding huge Harley’s and the DAs training absolutely set me up to be safe.
The testing out here is a joke and drivers are terrible.
I am glad it is as thorough as it is
-
I’ll have a look again, I do believe getting stuck at road works messed things up a little.
Who are you training with?
-
There was one road that was 40, can’t remember where. I’ll re drive the route at some point.
I figured because I had my first attempt two weeks before that and done national speed limit, it was the same examiner so perhaps he had seen enough?
We also got stuck in road work traffic which no doubt effected the examiners plan
-
Sorry, that was supposed to say ibrox lol.
My independent ride was follow signs for the hospital, which lead past ibrox towards the test centre in pretty much a straight line.
The guys there were great which really helped set my nerves at ease, I failed the first time for a stupid mistake and the examiner said. You had it but I had to fail you, I always felt like they wanted you to get on and succeed
-
My route came out the test centre, turn right down to govan, across to paisley road west and back up by Indic to the test centre. It was at 2pm and most of the time was sitting in traffic which I don’t think was a bad thing necessarily because it passed the time.
Best of luck

I wish it had a reverse gear, had to wrestle with it a few times.
I wouldn’t drop 20k on one but we rented that and it was phenomenal

I ended up going back through Callander, headed to Kippen and took the Fintry road to Lennoxtown back home.
Excellent evening of riding, avoiding the rain
-
Just passed a load of motorbikes parked up in Callander town centre.
Any one on here?
I was on my yellow CBR

Where's that please ?
Next to the Garrion bridge near Lanark. Amazing roads all around, dalserf I believe it is called
Ok , cheers . I've ended up in Lanark twice now by mistake . I keep getting it wrong on the exit to Abington services . Have you seen that amazing sculpture of the early flying machines in Lanark ?
At the entrance to Lanark Loch? Been there many times. In fact I bought my bike from a guy out that way, thevride from Lanark to Garrion bridge is excellent

Out exploring

Hi all,
I’m looking for an aftermarket exhaust, nothing to loud would just like an extra few decibels and deeper pitch on my baby.
Doesn’t have to be a full system, preferably a bolt on.
Lets see what you have
-
Don't worry all bikes irrespective of size all plot the next way of killing its rider on the next outing
There’s me thinking we’re working on getting along
You see that's where the problem lies, they like to lure you into a false sense of security then when you think good we are getting along really well they will pick that moment to do something you have never experienced before so all be it your getting along well at the moment it is sitting there plotting
We’re still talking about bikes right? As this sounds all to familiar :D

I went Yoshimura on CBR600 and it sounds divine, as far as I’m aware they are top quality. Would definitely recommend
