  1. I have on a few occasions caught the eye of another driver, and we have both shaken our heads, to something that another driver did, so it is quite likely, he was just acknowledging, someone else's mistake with you, as has been said though, don't sweat over it

Errrm so much for building one , doing some internet searches i came across this https://www.motorbikealarm.co.uk/shop/ncs-c-11-talking-motorbike-alarm-and-immobiliser-system/#tab-reviews and for the price seems ok, so i bought one the only downside, you need to supply bike make and model, for bespoke wiring diagram, good luck with that , but it will work on a 2 wire connection, until i can get the schematics for the full on wiring

  10. By jove i think i have cracked it , parking sensors, kits can be got for around a tenner, would be ideal as a proximity sensor, only need 4 sensors 1 for the front, 1 at the rear, and 1 on each side, some kits have a choice of sensor colour to match bodywork

  13. It was a very dodgy neighbourhood, give a wrong look kind of place, But donny is such a nice area.... It is compared to Harehills in Leeds
  14. It was partly my fault , i was living in dodgy area, and i had a great job doing exhibition stands, really well paid, and every month i would buy tools and equipment, anyway, i bought a rolling cabinet from snap on with the tools, about 1.5k, most of the time it stayed at work, but one weekend i took it home to use on the car, stupidly i took it out of my van, and wheeled it around the back into the kitchen, i should have known better, i could feel the eyes staring at me, the next day went out for a couple of hours to get some parts, came back to a busted kitchen door, and virtually cleaned out of everything I'd have knocked on every single door in the neighbourhood and demanded to check out they're tools and if they had them cleave they're head open with them lol It was a very dodgy neighbourhood, give a wrong look kind of place,

  23. Has anyone built or considered building/making their own bike alarm, i am looking at the pro's and con's of a custom made to an off the shelf system, one advantage i have is some electronics experience, mainly to do with model railway's, having built electronic detection circuits and lighting circuits all of which are low voltage, and typically 12v, and was thinking along the lines of using latching relay's and reed switches, to set off the horn and flashing lights etc, and to switch it on/off using a simple hidden key switch, any thought's appreciated
  24. Really?? Kerosene? they might be jet bikes , planes use kerosene aka aviation fuel
