  1. There must be few seconds, from being decapitated, to complete lights out, when you can visually see what's happened, but your head would be spinning so fast, it probably wouldn't register, not really the sort of thing that can be tried as an experiment
  2. Make sure your next bike is made from the same stuff as the lamp post, not a mark on that
  3. As soon as you are born, you are dead, how long it takes is out of your control, once you accept that you are a dead man/woman walking, that is when you become alive and begin to live
  4. I'm sure i could find some time over the weekend, and compose a list of links And keep it updated? self updating goes like this, To find your nearest current Biker Down Training course, Google " Biker down ( enter your location here )" to view a list of courses in your area.
  5. do the work and one of us mods can make it sticky I'm sure i could find some time over the weekend, and compose a list of links
  6. Would it be worth having a sticky somewhere, with links to various biker down training centres around the country
  7. link to south yorkshire , http://sysrp.co.uk/bikerdown/, these run every month on a Tuesday evening
  8. just had a quick google, according to the first link, 10/30 in sub 15 centigrade temperatures and 10/40 for higher, so 10/30 in winter, 10/40 in summer
  9. The nature of the beast, it might be shocking, but not unexpected, when you go out on a bike, you have to accept it might be your last ride, accept that death is hovering above, waiting for you, so just go out and enjoy it, when it's your time, it's your time

  12. you might need to have something bespoke made, looking at similar for fishing rods and poles, so have been looking at various contraptions/carriers to mount off the rear of the bike, but my closest possible solution is to make an add on to the pannier rack, that will be able to carry a largish diameter tube on each side, have a look on some metal working and woodworking ( often have a metal section) forums for any hobbyists in your area that can help, one i am a member of uk workshop, has a lot of very helpful members, good luck
  13. Being devil's advocate, regarding the handing over of a vehicle, thing's have changed, once over the responsibility was on the new keeper to notify the changes, posting the v5 back to dvla, after filling it in, in this respect, he might not have known that for want of a better phrase, that the rules changed, and the responsibility was transferred to the seller, but at the same time, there must have been parking enforcement notices posted to him, which he should have dealt with straight away, after receiving the first one
  14. Well done oop's forgot the bouncy boob's
  15. You should try working with me: In meetings I'm (in)famous for my digressions, tangents, diversions, marginalia and interjections of obscure bits of information that are totally unrelated to the matter at hand. You do have to keep them on their toe's
  16. I thought you might have had a bigger rod What you angling for Sea trout or salmon
  17. Yup - this is a quick snap from last weekend: Naked Bass Fishing.jpg I thought you might have had a bigger rod
  18. Clearly the milkshake assassin is a complete amateur ... cheaper alternatives available , large can of baked beans can't be much more than a pound,.... unless he stole the milkshake . A family tin of vegetable soup hidden under a jacket and then let go with a loud retching sound is always a good one. Have you been watching the Goonies again!

  20. I have on a few occasions caught the eye of another driver, and we have both shaken our heads, to something that another driver did, so it is quite likely, he was just acknowledging, someone else's mistake with you, as has been said though, don't sweat over it
