Hey all. Just an update. Did Mod 2 today and PASSED! I had 6 minor faults but it's a pass and I'm so happy that I don't have to go through that part of the process again! A pass is a pass after all I'm waiting for my other half to get his Fazer 600 back on the road (It's currently in the garage getting it road worthy as we speak!) I have to see if I can actually reach the floor first or maybe I'll need to get it lowered but I'm still on a high. Thanks everyone for your help and tips
xx
Well done I have passed my cbt about 6 mo th ago just thinkig about DAS

My abs seems to cut in very early especially on the rear brake is there away to make it so it won't activate so early.
Or should I just leave it gow it is. It is few first service next week I will ask workshop to have look

The dealer mentioned the service plan I think I might consider that

so i have just got myself a brand new bike its a honda cb125r. i got sick and tired of my keeway rks not starting and the engine knocks like a knocking thing when it gets warm. the new bike is relay nice to ride and real comfortable to ride.
one thing i would like some advise on is do i have to take it back to the dealer for service to keep the warrant valid or can i take it to any bike shop for service.
i am definitely going to do go for full bike licence after Christmas.

the front calipers have 3 pistons 2 are operated from the front brake lever. the rear foot peddle operates the other front piston and the rear brake as normal. i think all eruro4 bikes have to have ABS or CBS.

So I have replaced the hose with a new one. My new problem is the bike is fitted with combination brake system and ther is 3 nipples for the rear brake. 1 on the rear caliper 1 on a junction type box then 1 on the front brake. I haven't even attempt to bleed them yet I am sure ther must be a order to do them. time for some research

I applied my rear brake a bit hard and it bottomed out. No stopping power apart from the front so i hod a look and found this. The chain guide is not in place it i held in by a bolt at the back a a rubber bung thing at the front. so now i need to take the hose off get a new one. I am not looking forward to is beading the brakes. the brakes are the Combi Brake System so i haven't done this system before.

Every moped I have been on you have to apply the front brake to get the starter to turn.

Well done on getting it to run

my bike developed a bit of a knocking noise from near the valves so I took the top off to have a quick look maybe adjust the valves and I noticed it damage on the timing gear. What could happen as a result of this.

I am not sure if I put in the right way I didn't see it come out I just heard it I have been round the block it runs ok only thing was it's harder to get neutral.

I taken the big one out a spring and a thing like a golf tea droped out oil come out aswell. I have put the two things back in and replace the bolt. I then take out the smaller one and more oil came out.
I think the spring and little T thing are something to do with the gears.
