I just got PM'ed from someone who said that they want to send me their product for free so that I can review it. It sounds suspicious, but I can't see what the angle is. Stranger things have happened.
It is legit, I was invited and have one to review.
All they asked for was my email address so they could Paypal the funds to purchase the cover on Amazon, and by using amazon lockers for delivery I didn't have to give my address, so I had no reason for concern

I used this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glenmax.theorytest.motowithhpt
There is a free version but after failed attempts it's probably worth the £2.50.
I used the paid version and found it incredibly useful, used it everyday for a couple of weeks and passed first time. Well worth a couple of quid!

that sir is a lovely looking bike. it's '94, what's the mileage on that just now??
She only had 25.5k on her when I picked her up, only a few very small scratches on her that are only really noticable up close. She was very well looked after.

Beautiful bike! grats dude, enjoy her

Picked up this beauty last Saturday. Just under 2hr ride home in that heatwave we had, was sweating buckets but totally worth it.
Been enjoying the commute so much this week (not too much obviously )
I have however managed to run out of fuel on the road twice this week, thank f*** for reserve tanks lol. I'm gonna be topping her up every other trip I think.

GRATS!
Well done, when you get your bike, go to an empty car park or industrial area, and practice what you did on your CBT, knowing how your bike handles, and getting used to it, will help you ride with confidence
Totally agree!

Running on a low budget for now and only after something I can get some experience on before spending too much money on something newer.
Currently looking at possibly an old CBR600F, love the look and have heard nothing but good things about them.

I managed to pass my Mod 2 on the second attempt with 6 minors!
Got a warning about making sure I leave plenty of room when meeting traffic when lanes merge and to slow it down a bit when travelling through residential areas with parked cars on both sides. I knew I was overthinking these situations at teh time thinking I could get penalised for undue hesitation which I have seen other people talk about getting fails for going too slow. I suppose it heavily depends on the examiner you get.
If I'm honest I felt I was riding better on my first attempt, as this time I was WAY more nervious and honestly thought I had failed again.
Now to find myself some wheels!!! Excited is an understatment, been wanting this since I was 17!!!

CBT is nothing to worry about at all, it is NOT a test.
Just relax and enjoy the day, you'll be fine

Failed my Mod 2
Was a good ride around Aylesbury, only picked up 2 minors but made 2 very silly mistakes which gave me 2 serious faults too.
The examiner was really good, instructions were clear and he seemed very patient even on the 2 occasions I didn't quite hear him and just continued on. My first fault I turned right at a roundabout and exited into the right lane, I indicated to return to the left lane and forgot to cancel the signal afterwards. Second fault I took the centre position turning right out of a one way street. Was absolutely gutted to fail on such stupid things, I think I just got myself too confident after sailing through the Mod 1 with zero marks I ended up being a little sloppy. However, I am booked up for a second attempt in 2 weeks time.
Is this a scam?

I have not reviewed it yet, I am waiting to see how it deals with an overnight downpour.
It's pretty good for the price I guess, the elastic and 3 clipping points make it really easy to get it secure over the bike without loads of sagging, I didn't even need the extra strap that came with it. However, considering how much the listing boasts about it's "thick 100% waterproof material" I was disappointed to find it was considerably thinner than expected and the instructions suggest you keep the bike indoors during heavy downpour.
I don't have a garage so have to store my bike down the side of the house and need a good waterproof cover. It may surprise me, so I will hold my verdict until I can properly test it in all weathers so as to give a detailed and fair review.
