If you can afford it..... S0d it..... Get a loan and buy a Speed Triple... Rode one last year and it was excellent.... Gonna try thr Street Triple for a laugh this year...

Most definately I would go for the SPEED triple.... But in the spirit as it was intended I would go for the STREET TRIPLE.... Otherwise I would have another SV650S.... Brilliant bike and wish I could have kept mine for fun.....

Once tried to find out how fast a hire car would go..... 1.3 escort popular plus ( Damn... Showing my age)... Valve bounce in TOP.... Indicated 118mph... 17000 miles on the clock when we picked it up and it sounded like 117000 when we took it back...

How about riding my Dads RD200 to college after my moped seized up.... I was 16 and on L plates on me moped... Still I got to ride an RD200 for 2 weeks....

How about carrying a pillion with a broken leg (Full leg cast) whilst not being an ambulance.... Fell off that night and me and the bike landed on his bad leg..... We were both laughing when I picked him up.... Strong cast that one...

No excuse.... Doesn't make any difference... You have just disabled one of your senses.... They are there for a reason... And before someone pops up with the old favourite about what if you were deaf its a completely different situation.... Listening to music is still a distraction.... Cars are different as you can't hear much from outside anyway as cars are designed that way...

Carefully but most definately... Last time I was on the M5 and it was at a standstill for about 30 miles... We weren't.... Full wide luggage and all... BUT.... Never filter on the left !!!!!! Your not supposed to pass on the left ever so people don't look for you... Very dangerous....

Does riding a hired bike while wearing only boxers... Was young and very stupid and by riding I mean midnight motorcross...

Used to ride with someone who was dangerous when he passed you... Usually too close and at inappropriate times... He used to treat every ride like a race and thought it was funny and brave to get really close when passing... Don't ride with him now... It doesn't bother me but don't want to have to pick people up after he has knocked em off... And he has crashed more times than anyone else I know... If I was racing I would be quite firm and agressive on overtaking... Its part of the psycological tactics that work... Makes em think twice about having a go back so you can get a bit of space between you...

GP boys are turning into a bunch of soft pansies.... What with the "Its just not cricket old man" attitude and stoner throwing tantrums.... Its basically turning into a kindergarten..... Think back to the 80's and remember the men that rode the 500's... Proud, arrogant and ruthless..... PROPER RACERS.....

I read in MCN that Vermulen has been whinging about the way Toseland is a bit forcefull with his overtaking...... Comments were made along the lines of "this is not superbikes".... What a pansy.... ITS CALLED RACING!!!!!!! It isn't a case of "Oh after you my good man".... If he don't want people stuffing it up the inside then he shouldn't leave a gap.... If he was fighting for a win and JT was getting a bit wild on him then its fair enough but bimbling round in the lower places means either he ain't trying or he is a wimp... HEY VERMULEN !!!!! Get some balls or shut it !!!!!

So its not just my opinion then..... If it goes to the BBC it will be pants... I know the adverts are annoying but its better than not seeing it at all... And as for the coverage supplied by ITV last year.... Well I think they should be force to pay a fine for not giving the public value for money.... 3 laps of race one does not constitute highlites.... I hope eurosport keep the rights but listen to the viewers and up their game.... Come on people start E-mailing Eurosport and get them to change.....

Valencia at the weekend..... What was with the comentators... Never heard such a pair of useless 2hats ever.... Its nice to hear a bit of banter and off topic conversation when the racing is on (all hail Toby, Jules, Whitam and Barnacle) but the pair of dribbling idiots on sunday were just annoying.... The coverage was abismal... Too much talking absolute harrysacks and not enough information.... Warren Pole, Parrish and Tommy Hill whittering on about nothing and all the while we are wondering if brands hatch will go ahead and why is the supersport race delayed..... Stick to what works EUROSPORT UK and ditch the NO CLUE, Boring nutsacks from last weekend........ Rant level reduced to mild teeth grinding and swearing at the telly....

I'm 6 foot 5.... Used to ride an SV650s but it was a bit small..... Tried a few different bikes and settled on ZZR1200 as it was practicle, comfortable and went like a wippet with a thistle up its port hole..... Other bikes I fit on and enjoyed riding were the Triumph Sprint ST 1050 and Speed Triple 1050.... Comfort, Practicallity and a bit of oomph is most important..... I don't fit on any sports bikes.....

Would ALWAYS wear a helmet..... Anyone riding around without a helmet, like the scummer kids around our way on stolen bikes or mini moto's, should be stopped and twatted round the head with a 2 by 4..... They would get the idea after a couple of go's.... Also anyone who thinks its a good idea to ride without a helmet could be made to see sense by having a mate of mine pop round with his belt sander and randomly shave skin off parts of their bodies... He is quite vocal on this idea as he survived having his head run over by a car when he was thrown from his bike into oncoming traffic..... Suomy saved his life.........

Should have a number embossed on the dust shield... That will be the number of the bearing.. Yam parts stocker is probably the best way unless you have a local bearing stockist....

Only works on KTM's or specials... The Z1000 just looked wrong in orange... If ur gonna do an orange paintjob it needs a bit of somat special in it.. A bit of tribal shadow or metal flake flame job... Stew's has some other colour to break it up a bit which makes it work... Too much flat orange just makes it look like you've been tango'd...

Me n the missus are hopefully going on Wednesday 28th.. Going on the bike as parking is free.. Will put the full luggage on so's we can put gear in while we are inside.. Haven't been for a couple of years but as there are a few new things out this year I thought we'd have a look..

Only one word for chinese import bikes....BORROCKS... I knew someone who sold them and even they said they were crap... Cheap nasty death traps.. Someone local bought one and after a week the swing arm snapped... Could not get parts for it so scrapped it and bought something else....
