Looks great - who owns the cabin you stayed in? Is it private or up for general rental?

Nice Pics mate - glad you enjoyed it.
Me & Mrs Adder have booked for 4 days oncluding the D Day celebrations for next year.
Can't wait.

My dad lives in Castleton - its a great place.
If you want a nice road - turn right in the village of Hope, follow signs for Edale. Just keep on that road - it keeps close to the rail way line then turns up a very winding road to the top of Mam Tor (where all the para gliders jump from). At the top you can turn left and come back down the amazing Whinnets Pass and back into Castleton. Alternatively head for Sparrowpit and choose between Buxton and the Cat & Fiddle, or towards Bakewell & Matlock.
Enjoy.

Thanks Peeps - I was really pleased with how the bike performed. I was a bit worried with it being smaller than most bikes - but it was a pleasure.
If anyone wants details of the superb B & B near Carantan, let me know. Run by a British family from Lancashire, secure bike parking in a garage, lovely rooms & food, and within easy reach of the D Day coast or the Western coast for Mont Sainte Michel etc.

I still don't understand why people in this day and age wait for it to come on telly with adverts and stuff. Just download em and watch em in an epic marathon.....
cos we own tv's and have other things to do in the meantime!
I have 2 massive TV's both with high powered PC's connected to em, if I wanna watch something in my bedroom I just get it from the other PC over the WIFI. I also have loads of stuff I do thats why I prefer to download em so I can watch em where ever and when ever I like, If its goin on a TV I download em in 720p HD files or if its gonna be watched on my phone I get it as an AVI file. They only take about 15 mins for a HD file (1.09GB) and about 3 mins for an AVI file (350MB). it takes littleraly no time at all to do, I showed my Mum and Dad how to do it not so long ago and they do the same as me now, as does my 82 year old Grandad!!
What did he say?

Love Matlock - and the Peak District!
I go every weekend - end up there for a coffee after a run round, and maybe on a summer evening.

Most definately BLACK!
That blue & white thing just looks naf! Reminds me of a 1985 Ford XR3i

Mines a Citroen C3 1.4 diesel - great little car, I think. Can't argue with 60mpg !
-
I'd go for the Bandit as its exceptional value, its been around a lot longer than the Yam so there are more options for modification, support & repairs etc. Its a great engine and I think it looks better too.
Have you thought about the Triumph Sprint?

If properly checked, adjusted & lubed, I'd say you should get at least 3 years out of it.

Good old WD40 gets off the glue residue easy peasy!

There was a firm called Halken Hunt in Doncaster that made flourescent over jackets with reflective strips. They used to supply the police, and they were superb bits of kit - with zip cuffs, and a high collar. Always water proof and thin enough to get over other coats. (I still wear one when travelling to work in the dark)
Have a look - http://www.halkonhunt.org.uk

I've worn Daytonas for the last 10 years at work - they are brilliant. Comfy as carpet slippers on and off the bike. 100% waterproof.
Only down side is the soles can wear out fairly quickly - but thats probably due to wearing them 8 hours a day.

I use a black visor for sunny days. Never had a problem.
I'd rather see where I'm going than hit something because I'm dazzled by the sun.
Just be sensible and don't use it in poor lighting conditions.

Great to see the family all enjoying the bikes together.
Would love to do the same. Nice one!

I just watched the race this evening after recording it on Sunday. It looked an awful crash, but then I just heard the outcome on the forum -
what a terrible loss!

Me and Mrs Blackadder will be there. Been going for the last ten years - its a good laugh, and we like the rock music!
Watching the nobbers ride round naked is just part of it. Saw a group of Elvises (Elvi?) riding round on monkey bikes a few years back - bizarre!
Speaking of which - has anyone seen the carnival of the bizarre? - they are some sick puppies!
-
Definately yes.
A couple of mates had then and they go like nothing else you've ever seen, and yes they go round corners - very quick and very cranked over!
Downside - rear tyre every 1500 miles!
Ouch!

Stick with the black one mate!
