hi all, I'm trying to source a new thermostat for my Peugeot Elyseo 125 cc scooter without success, do any of you guys have any suggestions, ( not rude of course)

Get it tested for combustion gasses in water, no idea on your engine but if it has a leak from the cylinder into water it will spit water out, faulty cap and lots of other things will cause the same.

I have no idea about your bike but there are a few things that can cause overheating, is it pushing water out or is temp warning coming on?

Exhaust gasses pressurising the system will shove water out, ignition timing and or a lean mixture can also cause problems, does it have lack of power?

Hi, yes water is pushed out of expansion chamber, no lack of power.

is the air blocked from getting to the radiator at all?

Does it have a cooling fan? If so is that working correctly?

Hi air appears to be getting to the rad ok, the fan did not seem to be working so I bypassed the switch and fitted a manual switch but it still over heats. Coolant boils out of expansion chamber.

Hi all, I'm a newbie to this forum and am hoping you clever folks can assist me.

My elyseo constantly overheats, I have tried the usual, thermostat and the senser in the rad both appear to be ok. Could it be an air lock? if so how do I bleed the system? Thanks in anticipation.
