Yes, but not on the bike though as my mate takes his wee boy who is just too young to hang onto the back of an R1. And his mate is also up from London for it too, and wont be coming up on his Desmo. NP. gonna see what the weathers like on the day to see if I'll be riding or on four wheels.

I found the pan mirrors were really good just fitted the blindspot mirrors at the top inside edge of them

I have the same problem on my 650! Looking in to getting mirror spacers too.. But i have a feeling that using the blind spot things, will mean im obstructing some of the view area behind me (and the fact ill probably place them in the wrong place ) I fit mine in the bit of mirror that you see your elbow in so not taking up viewing space

Bamboo is the future, nice and warm,eco friendly manufacturers are using it far all sorts of fabric so definately give it a try. (I sell wool for a living and we are using it too )

I would have said thermostat,take it out and place in boiling water to see if it opens

I use them and they help but nothing better that a good view from regular mirrors, might need to fiddle about adjusting them
