  5. It was a bit kinky, dressed in leather... truckers all around us... a dead deer staring at us with glazed over eyes *chuckle*
  6. The girlie bike had a strop and refused to start! Gave me a proper cardio workout though! And you said Suzuki's were reliable jayne!
  7. Well the weather isn't raining, but it is wet
  8. Well I was going to go show my shiney new chain off but it just pissed it down on me on my way home
  9. May go for this, wanting to get my new chain and sprockets fitted so hoping Honda have an open spot for me.
  10. not for me i'm afraid, need to get new chain and sprockets on and fuel prices suck!
  11. Huntingdon, Cambs, could have sworn this was the Cambs and East Anglia section
  12. Does anyone local have a chain tool to join a chain? thinking of getting a new chain and sprockets, I'm sure the bike shops will charge an arm and a leg to fit them.
  13. Did notice a couple of bikes in there on Tues when i went past... in the car
  14. Huntingdon, but i was at Taz's (Wheels) and we bumped into eachother again going through Monks Wood
  15. Don't run it until the oil's been changed, could be anything floating about
  16. But the work involved with fluids/engine covers is so simple, you just need a gasket for the engine cover, did it put a hole in it or just scratch? And cheers Dave, is that the same 11 days in April (all the bank holidays etc) that I have off?
  17. much left to do? If we all muck in, could get it road worthy within a couple of hours (if you've all the parts!), I've a socket set and mini torque wrench that are awaiting their first proper use! When it's at that stage I would certainly appreciate the help! It need's a check over, engine cover and fluids replaced, brake fluid replaced and a service before I can start cosmetic's though Engine cover and fluids are a 20min job, brake fluid not so quick but will be fine with a bleed kit, and that's pretty much all of the service done bar air filter and plugs, maybe an hour to get to them? I've taken most of my bike apart so far so know my way around fairly well now. Can pop over whenever and give you a hand.
  18. Speaking of torque wrench, i need to tighten my chain (again...), and i stripped the cogs in my ratchet doing it up last time, mind if i steal it for 5mins one day in the near future? I didn't put it in Ash, at the time it was cold and i dind't fancy splicing into my indicator wiring, it's a doddle to fit, but the splicing seems a bit iffy. Plus i don't have any resistors for the LED'ness of it (it might flash at a million miles an hour)
  19. If you need a hand Ash let me know
  20. I need twisty stuff! I refuse to go in straight lines on these tyres, i'm not squaring them off! That really wasn't that crazy Dave, that was quite subdued to my usual runs, blast it down the straights, hammer the brakes on, lob it over
  21. Let me know where and when you guys(and girls) are out. Dave and I are going to take a peek at my bike on Sun afternoon but i'll be out sat as well.
  22. Tis indeed Or at least see how far the bike will go, currently the front wheel seems to want to stand up, I'm having to keep input into it to keep it leant over, trying to figure out why
