I done my placement at glaxosmithkline last year on a research and development site. There were quite a few engineers in the manufacturing side of operations, although the majority of placement students were scientists or IT.

Dogs
in General Chat
I currently have a jack Russel, well its the family dog not mine personally. I wouldn't personally trust it with kids as it seems very jealous even when we are feeding tortoise lol.
I have a kid on the way and my girlfriend who is currently a nanny is hoping to become a child minder at home. We have been looking at new found lands and St Bernards as they are extremely good looking and are great with kids from other people's experiences (when trained well of course).

Ah yes, I forgot how "cheap" the test is. Fair play if you decide that, doesn't sound like a bad idea.
When I done the test on a 125 I just put it in second and accelerated as fast as I could lol.
-
Hopefully it won't happen again.
I don't want this to sound rude, so please don't take it that way. Many people manage the speed fine on a 125 so 600 should be even easier (in theory?) Maybe it's worth practicing that maneuver a bit more, increasing your confidence. I can't see moving to your 125 a wise move.
Good luck either way, you will get there in the end!

The quickest way to get it all done in my opinion is an intense course (do theory before hand, but cbt, mod1 and mod2 in one week).
I went from never having sat on a motorbike to having an a restricted license in 5 days can't really get quicker then that!

Filling you car's tank to the brim is false economy. Your car has to carry all that extra weight which takes more fuel.
You should only fill to 3 quarters (unless I suppose you actually need a full tank to get anywhere in one go (but then you can always stick some more in down the road))
I have a quarter of a tank and don't usually stick any more in until today. Might not bother for a few days. I really can't be arsed to sit in those f**king massive queues.
A lot of forecourts were empty round here yesterday.
I would say this depends on how much you think your is worth. I would much rather have as long as possible between petrol station visits (even if it means my mpg is slightly worse for a little while).

I use mse and haven't had any issues.

Unlucky fella. I didn't know there was a test centre in uxbrige. I was going to do mine there (whilst at uni) but couldn't find a school nor test centres to use!

Well done dude.

What bike ya decided on then?
One with 2 wheels and a petrol tank
No engine? That's gunna be a very slow bike!
Well done fella

B, as this is what i done
-
Aww haha.
Ok so you drive into the space to begin with. When asked reverse the back completely straight backwards. This means you are still facing the space. The push the bike in a semi circle shape ( If the new space in on the left push the bike in a anti clockwise semi circle and vice versa). When finished you should be again directly infront of the parking space ( the new one, not the one you parked in initially ) how ever you will be facing forward. Push the bike directly backwards into the space. Job done.
You can almost imagine it was a capital M joining the spaces ( but with a curve for the centre, not a v shape).

Passed in Febuary

Good luck:D

You wont be failed.
I asked my tester and he said although you wont get failed if you filter *safely*, you can fail if its not safe.
Because filtering is not required, i know what i would rather do

I went from never having sat on a motorcycle to passing my mod1 and mod2 within 5 days. Obviously it all depends on the rider and the testers, but I didn't think it was too bad.
