Hi howz is everyone? Ive got a 125 rebel 95 on 29,000 miles, 2 cylinders. in the last 100 or so i had it serviced 2 spark plugs valve clearance oil changed. over the last 2 days or i so ive noticed that once its warmed up me right cylinder starts misfiring and it has popped a couple of times. I haven't noticed any loss off power. any help is appreciated thanx in advance. sean well contacted garage and hoping its just a ht lead got in garage on thursday. sorry if this has been asked a few times couldn't see any similiar post if thats why no one has replied

Got a price from M and S motorcycles in newcastle £120.00 for service and around £150 for me fork seals, would u say this is the average price everywhere? thanks in advance for any help

Hi all. Took me re-test yesterday started the test with leaving the side stand down while trying to start bike kept on stalling when try to put in gear about 4 times until instructor said check side stand is up nerves what all over the place by then. So get out on the road and felt a bit more confident double checked indicators as thats what I failed on last time. Did the 10 min independent riding part no problem which I think really is nothing to worry about. Got to about 5 mins way back to test centre just heading onto the A1 of a up slopping U curve and noticed a van was moving slowly and coming to a stop a little in front and I think I must of pulled the front brake a bit to much and misjudged the slop and the bike almost crashed to the ground. Anyway had hold of bike at arms reach and I was that far up towards the handle bars I could'nt pull it back ( This is a er500 aswell so they are quite heavy and hav'nt been in that kind of situation before ) up so instructor said just put it down and pull it back up. Got back to test centre and she said u failled but I already knew then she also told me a bit early in the ride I rode through were there is diagonal lines in between two straight lines so that was a serious fault aswell. So I think its back to a 125 for a bit to get some more experience on the road and sick of seeing me 250 in the back. Re-take planned for some time in January and sorry about the huge paragraph lol

Nice one Almooro. Failed me mod 1 once and now I have failed me mod 2 once aswell. got me re-take on monday so am hopping to fly through it this time 2nd time lucky

Nice helmet and even nicer price would take is about year to save up for that and no good at saving lol so in me dreams

I know its not gonna protect my bike as good as the normal one mention above but the alarm is quite loud and for £12.00 what more could you ask for.

agree with u there sparkeh9 left my bloomin indicators on 3 times in my 1st attempt, Got me next one on the on the 18/10/10. But as everyone else is saying remember ur observations and just try and keep a good eye about for hazards and signs. All the best for you

It is pretty loud and comes with spare key and battery. Very heavy duty and SHINEY CHROME !! Just to start you off defnitley recommended buy for something to start of with. just got one the other day and its built solid and defnitley makes a noise lol

Hi all absalutley gutted. Got 8 minor for daft little things and forgot to turn indicator of 3 times lol so instant fail. I think it was just down to nerves as i never normally leave indicator on lol. Got re-booked for the 18/10/10.

hi there Its a great feeling going from a 125 to a 500. Its a bit scary the first 5 mins as most of them have a different riding position. But after that you'll probablyz feel more confident on the 500. I started me tests a few months back, done a couple of tests on a 125 then went to a 500 and felt more confident on that than the 125.

hi all. Passed me 2nd attempt at mod 1 today. Was feeling nervous as crap. I was the 2nd person to take as the was 3 of us 2 takin mod 1 and 1 taken mod 2. 1st lad failed by a few kphs on the swerve as he was shifting too late. Then it came to me. I flew threw first part moving bike from box to box, cones and figure of 8. Then it came to swerve, U-turn and emergency stop. No problem on the u-turn but on swerve and e brake only got 49 kph on both. so turned round and finally got 53 and 57kph. So passed yippeeeee lol. The examiner said Its the first time he has sore 49kph on both swerve and e brake. I asked if there was a prize for that but he said i would'nt want a prize of the dvla as it would be crap lol. So got me mod 2 booked for the 24/09/10 and hoping to fly through that so i can start riding me suzi.

Hi adam yeah same here, Ive got me mod 1 booked Thursday ( tomorrow ). This will be my 2nd attempt. was a bit nervous on giving it throttle on 50 kph swerve. Nailed the emergency one lol, But as Gilly was saying just obs before any movement and when u stop. feet tight in so u don't accidentally touch a cone and just take it slowly and when your ready don't rush. I'm hopin to pass this time.

Hi Gloria like the others say good on ya with getting back on, I know what its like. On my Cbt last year I had a small crash and grazed me knees a bit but got straight back on and hav'nt looked back. Just busy with me mods 1 + 2 now already failed mod 1 once but have got re-booking tomorrow.

Hi everyone just had me mod 1 this morning at 09:45. Shot through first part ok ( slalom figure 8 u-turn ) was a bit slow on the swerve at 44 kph and 52 kph on emergency stop. Had another go and got 47 kph so failed on the swerve. feel like but first go and hopefully can get one booked next week and nail it. any one got any tips to make sure over the 50 kph will be greatly appreciated.

they should'nt be able to charge again when i done me cbt last year, they said if they did'nt think that any of us was upto it they would ask us back the next day free for a little more training. fair does if the person who is taking the course was absolutley terrible but not just for odd thing here and there.

Hi everyone. Yeah I believe there is some terrible training schools which just don't give a crap about training people up properly. when i took my cbt last year it was my first time on a bike too , Fell of it as soon as i got on lol but the instructer pushed and pushed and got me through the course and got my certificate. So I don't think they should be able to do that saying you hav'nt got good clutch control and come back and do it on a 50 cc scooter as you've paid £100 for that course. just glad i have a decent instructor and its a ratio of 2 students to 1 instructor
