check the year though
Brilliant thanks! Site bookmarked.
Yep mine's a '96 RF900R. That's one friggin expensive plastic washer - although the alternative is a 3-cylinder RF750 I guess..
Cheers,

So I decide to resurrect my venerable old RF900 which has ben sat a while. The fuel went manky so I've had to clean out the tank and strip / clean the carbs.
Service gasket kit arrives so I clean the bench and start on the first carb removing & cleaning the jets then carry on to the diaphragm slider & needle. I'm cleaning the needle when I see something out of the corner of my eye and hear that slight "tink" of something heading South. So now, I have one slider/needle assembly missing its top plastic bush which is actually the seat for the long spring
Can I find it on the garage floor or under the workbench? No of course.
So to my question.... I can't find a replacement on eBay, at least searching for RF900. Does anyone know if other bikes share the same Mikuni carbs? Or are there any other breakers/dealers other than eBay who might be able to help?
Piing! Oh dear, one carb down :(

Yeah, being an electronics engineer by trade I'm more than familiar with mm-sized parts leaving the face of the Earth for a couple of years...
Actually I've just found it!! My workbench has a bottom shelf then gap of about 2" underneath with about 30 years worth of detritus including 100s of dead woodlice and spider nests, swarf spirals, cobwebs, wood shavings that sort of thing. After a few hours painstakingly sorting through the crap with a pair of tweezers the thing just shot out when scraping underneath for a bit more. So all good now![😁](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@14.0.2/assets/72x72/1f601.png)
