Can anyone recommend a good ground anchor, After seeing a "bolt cropper proof" oxford chain being cut through like butter, Manufacturers claims mean very little.
Has anyone had any experience with them, been put up to the test by attempted thefts, etc..?
OP, which is the chain you are referring to that is being cut through like butter?

My old man worked at b&q, hated it with a passion. Under paid. under staffed and very under appreciated by the management. They all started leaving one by one then cos there was hardly any staff they had to work stupid shifts to cover for the ones who left and the ones on the sick (which was a lot also).
In the end he got offered a job at another builders merchants, more money (by quite a lot) and just mon-fri with wknds off. He's never looked back!

Hi mate
I did my lessons with Brighouse Motorcycle Training Centre
http://www.brighousemtc.co.uk/
Whilst not the cheapest around, I found the instructors, especially a guy called Paul, amazing. Taught me really well, very patient.
I passed my mod 2 first time, 4 minors (test took in Halifax) and passed my Mod 1 on my 3rd attempt. With regards to the Mod 1, I kept on failing on U turns, nothing else...the guy that owns the school (also owns DC motorbikes) offered me to come down to do some practise on their CBT pad for free, which I thought was spot on.
Off the top of my head:
mod 1 plus morning practise was £150
mod 2 plus a full days training and some training on the day of test (extra day is invaluable) was £345.
Definately worth a look in my opinion
Cheers mate i'll look into that.

Stick at it, you'll get there. When i did my cbt there was a girl on it with me too. She fell off doing an estop and was constantly stalling etc. The instructor wouldn't let her on the road, she had to go back for a second day, then a third, then a fourth! At £50 extra per day!
