  1. We have E10 over here in Tunisia and have had for the last couple of years. I use it in a 27yr old K1100 with no issues at all. I get roughly the same per tank full as I did with the E5 fuel back in the UK and it's a whole lot cheaper to fill up here as opposed to back in the UK. It costs me around 30 Tunisian Dinars to fill up after about 200 miles which works out at less than £10 in the UK. The advantage over here i that the government set the max price per litre regardless of fuel supplier so there is loads of competition between fuel suppliers/stations to get customers onto the forecourt.
  2. I'm probably more fortunate than you guys in the UK as living here in Tunisia we having good biking weather all year round with the average temperature this time of year being around 25C. Only problem I have is cleaning all the dust & sand out of the nooks and crannies after a ride out but that's a minor inconvenience compared to rain and snow in the UK.
  3. I acquired some reflectors off my grand daughters bike and fitted them to the rear of the panniers on my BMW K1100LT by drilling the case and sealing with silicone and so far had no issues with leaks or plod moaning etc.
  4. Forgot to say they are also super comfortable straight out of the box. Even the wife is happy with the fit and she wears glasses all the time.
  5. Me and the missus both wear GMac Glide Evo's. They can be bought for under £100 if you look around. Like most flip fronts they suffer from wind noise at higher motorway speeds but ear plugs reduce this. We've just done a 1200 mile 3 day "blast" from West Yorkshire through France to Genoa Italy to catch the ferry back to Tunisia and we did most of the mileage on the motorways with speeds of 130Kmh had no issues at all. They have an internal drop down dark visor and cut-outs for fitting intercom headsets. They are also pinllock ready.
  6. Set off home on Wednesday morning and stopped in this layby on Friday lunchtime, somewhere in the Alps between France and Italy
  7. So far so good. They also link via bluetooth to both my mobile and sat nav. Plus I also have the added benefit of muting the missus when she starts singing lol
  8. Hi Me and the missus have the Freedconn headsets in our helmets and have done 000's of miles using them with no issues regarding sound quality or battery life. On average we get about 10 hrs usage out of them given that they are in talk mode all the time while out on the bike. Ours only have the on-off button and the volume/mode rotary dial and are super easy to use even with thick winter gloves on. Would I buy these again then the answer has to be yes. For about £100 for a pair of headsets and units then they work out at good value for the money
