  1. thank you hun , wasn't sure if it was a good price or not, but just worked it out roughly and it seems alright after a bit of thought, shall be booking that lesson etc tomorow
  2. went to the centre earlier and they said they are willing to do my mod 1, but i have to do a lesson etc until they say i'm ready to to take it and pass, would £125 for 5 hours of lessons, bike hire and test fee's be too much?, or would i be ripped off?
  3. i thought they would have booked it, but i don't know, unless i book it for £15 and i only have to pay them £55, ill ride down later and ask, they don't make much sense over the phone
  4. there are a couple, but one wants me to pay £650 for a 3 day course, which isn't really what i want to pay and another one that wants £140 for the same things i get from the first school, so i thought i would go with the cheaper option, i also done my cbt with these, an i know they are a good company, just a confusing one
  5. it was confusing, cause it said £70 for all that inc test fee, but when i called they said they didn't do the test, an i don't get what that means then, cause they advertise that it includes the test fee
  6. right, i have been looking to do mod 1, i have looked on the dsa website, an it says £15, does this inc bike hire?!, also i have seen a bike school saying mod 1 for £70 inc test fee's, bike hire and a 2 hour lesson, although when i called them, they said they don't do the test. it's making me so confused and i'm wasting time, i want to book my test asap, help? pleasee
  7. congrats!, nice one mate
  8. right, i have been looking for a place to do my mod1 and 2 around the local area, i have e-mailed a lot and didnt get any e-mails back, also i have called a couple and they either dont answer the phone, or say a load of rubbish and put the phone down before i can even ask them anything. so, are there any places that people around here would recomend for me?, don't mind paying for a lesson on top of the mod etc, just need to find somewhere thank you
  9. well done hun! hope to get mine booked sometime this week
  10. well done wish i could be saying the same right now!
  11. it's easy mate, im sure you will pass with ease
  12. i wish i could do das to be honest, but only 17 lol, to be honest, i have the balance etc sorted due to being on the road for over a year at the moment
  13. im around 15 miles outside of birmingham, an i was thinking about doing the £70 one, but just wasn't sure, plus doubt asking one of the test places for there opinion, cause i bet they will all say there one is best
  14. right, passed my theory yesterday and spent the rest of the day looking for a place local to do my mod 1, but most of them are either doing a 3 day course thing for £650, or i have to pay £70+ cause i have to do a lesson with the module. would it be worth just going for one of these, or keep looking, i haven't done gears much before, but for the normal £15 a time, i could learn them, whilst learning the module will be grateful for any input
  15. Passed, 47/50 theory, 57/75 hazard
  16. Couldn't quite remember which one it was, just remembered it ended in a 1
  17. Lent one from a friend, but thanks anyway!, got the thing at 8 o'clock tomorow morning
  18. i do believe, if you passed your full car test before 1991 or something, then you can ride upto a 50cc on the car license. you will have to do a cbt for a 125cc and renew it every two years, or if you get the full bike it costs around £15 for mod 1 and £70 for mod 2, so ofcourse this way it a lot cheaper, of and the insurance on a 125cc is so low its unbelievable once you have passed the test
  19. unlucky mate, fingers crossed for a pass next time
  20. hope everything goes well today mate!
  21. good luck for today, ill have my fingers crossed
  22. Thanks, feeling a bit better about the hazard thing, been doing them on my iPod and computer, getting between 4-5 each clip, so I'm happy with that. But one thing I notice is that I always see more hazards than the test says, is this normal, cause I click around 4 times each clip, an that's one click per hazard. Although the theory is the one I'm a bit nervous about, I do the motorbike one on direct.gov, hoping the one I get is like that (I booked with them), an I pass each time easy, but I tried a car one and I failed, are there many questions that would go in both the car and motorbike theory?
  23. I'm really thankful for all your replies, hopefully these may help me get through it and on to mod one a lot sooner , thanks again
