Got the little beast together ready for next months adventure, a 3500 mile jaunt for Combat Stress a veterans mental health charity. Just need to swap out front sprocket for a bigger one to lower top end revs. 

Got a feeling this will hurt.

It's the same chain oiler as the Nemo2 but at a fraction of the price. I have one on my Honda CBF500 which is out in all weathers. When you need to oil the chain you just twist the top a quarter of a turn and the job is done. That might be a good way to keep your chain in good shape on a long trip.

Before I start I am aware that the bike I have chosen is possibly the worst choice possible and you cant polish a turd but.....

Next year I am doing a long distance charity ride on my Jincheng chaly 125, just asking what upgrades I should consider to make it as reliable as possible. I will be upgrading the chain and air filter straight off the bat and using a decent mineral oil. Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I'm funding the trip myself so budget is always in mind.
