That would be my next call, what fits my helmet! I've got a Shoei but so long as things work I'm not overly fussed about the unit being visible, especially if it unclips. I know there's space already for the headphones I just haven't explored room for the mic.
Thanks for the advice!!
Took your advice and got kitted up Tuesday evening, grabbed a mate and headed off to a not too distant reservoir. Some great little country roads and a beautiful view at the end actually made it a perfect evening
Hiya,
I've been looking at coms units and Cardo seem to be the brand that everyone is raving about! Does anyone know which of the many varieties is best or indeed has one and can speak from experience? I'm an occasional rider and I like to listen to music but also end up on a major mystery tour without a sat nav to hear, don't mind not seeing it although that makes things just as fun (never lost just on a detour ).
Thanks!!
I've not long had my licence and but during the week I've just not got the energy to get kitted up and get the bike out after work.
I've also found comments (e.g. you could come and meet us but it might be too far and I'm not sure if I'll still be there) from seasoned bikers I know don't help motivate me much.
As a relatively new biker I'm still navigating my way through the biking community and have met quite a few people who are helpful and understanding which is keeping my want to get out there alive
Only ever used them as a place to look and get a feel for the different bike styles, I've not heard good things when it comes to buying from them. The staff are really nice to talk to but I do think it's a case of get them in, make them shine and sell them on as fast as they can!
Hiya @Urbanmonkey
Sounds like only the test has been paid for unless your bike school has said otherwise?
Here's a link to show the costs of test: https://www.gov.uk/driving-test-cost
Good luck with the test, the examiner (Dave) at Colwick is really lovely, I passed there!!
I keep mine outside under a cover but against a bricked wall for a bit of shelter from the elements. My previous bike lived outside during the winter and faired just fine. Got friends who swear by ACF50 so I shall be adopting that approach
