Yep roadtorque in Chester way is who I'm referring to... bought his Bandit 650SA off him some years ago.
-
Me too, thats why I was asking. Cheers.

Has anyone heard from Roadtorque? I remember buying his bandit off him some time ago and although I don't frequent here often I was wondering how he was getting on.

Sorry for quick short reply!

I have two xena ones, a small yellow one and a larger silver one. They are great and I would say the smaller one is better due to size, cost and its more visible on wheel so you dont forget.

So. You've seen my gloves have you ? And you were there when I did the repair was you ? Helped me choose the type of thread and select the leather patch did you ? Help me apply the contact adhesive? If I remember correctly you never even helped me do the triple stitching. No. I am fairly sure I'd remember if you did.
So it raises a question. What the fcuk do you know about it and whether it'll be a weak point. ? seeing how a part of the glove which is not designed for impact now has triple stitching and an extra layer of leather bonded within it I am Bloody sure it'll be the stronger of the two gloves.
Wow!
-
that'll be the weak point in a crash then!
-
yup, got these in black, bought them in HG back in 2009, still going strong although the suede palm has worn away (too much riding!)
still great gloves though

its ridiculous to say the sport should be banned... motorsport is dangerous... fact... thats why riders ride and drivers drive... adrenaline
i really feel for edwards and rossi... rossi's body language on the bike after riding the bucking bronco spoke volumes... he knew what had happened (initially it looked to me as if he only bounced off edwards and not made contact with marco)... and its was going to be bad.
i really felt for marco's girlfriend who was shown in the pits gasping after the accident, and also edwards who sat/stood there motionless... that reminded me of a driver in F1 who saw a marshall get ripped to shreds after running across the track with a fire extinguisher.
i hope rossi doesn't quit, but i think he may.

Such a shame, was watching it live on the BBC news website over here in NZ.
It was odd 'cos before the race I was thinking of Craig Jones, the UK rider who had a nasty accident at Brands a few years ago.
So sad, Sic was a real character and he was definitely world champion material. I felt so sorry for his girlfriend who they cut to during the crash.
RIP 58.

That was a few years ago yes! It was a great bike, but ended up making the switch to a v-twin... did miss the bike for a while (sold it to another TMBF member).
I've moved on... emigrated down under nearly four years ago and haven;t looked back. Recently bought an FZ1 that I've finished stripping and upgrading, now putting it back together.
Good to hear from you!
