Yep roadtorque in Chester way is who I'm referring to... bought his Bandit 650SA off him some years ago.
-
Me too, thats why I was asking. Cheers.
-
Has anyone heard from Roadtorque? I remember buying his bandit off him some time ago and although I don't frequent here often I was wondering how he was getting on.

Is it the little mermaid?

I'm adding this to my list of reasons to leave the country... the list is getting pretty long now...
Mine did to... thats why I left back in 2011!!

Out of interest, what are the approximate running costs, not including drinks?
-
Just count yourselves lucky its 70mph there... its 66mph here... although I don't necessarily stick to it
-
Sorry for quick short reply!
I meant as in the bike... looks like a fast bike.
Nice vid.
-

Great news - well done... a 2:2 is easy so you'll be fine!
Cardiff is awesome, born and raised there.
Just watch out for all the English haters aye?

i have learnt why the Welsh hate us so much, they are not represented in the UF which i think is wrong.
thats a huge sweeping statement right there
where is the black flag with a yellow cross in the union flag? cos thats the welsh flag. i have been told by many a welsh person that that is their biggest reason for not liking the english. and i am talking people from young to old.
Thats pathetic!

uk spoon feds its unemployed enough... benefits should be cut
whats so refreshing here is that i call my gp and i get an appointment in an hour, maybe two. The reason? You have to pay to see your GP.
i could go on... but i wont. best move I ever made.
-
why is this turning into the welsh/scottish/irish hating the english? completely OT
i emigrated to NZ, economy great, double salary however cost of living is slightly more than uk, but standard of living far better

Only 20 replies... not as popular as last year eh?
Happy Birthday from down under

I have two xena ones, a small yellow one and a larger silver one. They are great and I would say the smaller one is better due to size, cost and its more visible on wheel so you dont forget.

Haven't been to Palmy yet... travelled a fair bit already though. I'm based in Auckland (like the other 25% of the population!).
Its an amazing country, amazing experience so far... and of course there are downsides, there are idiots, and stupid laws etc. but hey, waking up to the view I have, the relaxed lifestyle, and the SPACE is awesome.

So. You've seen my gloves have you ? And you were there when I did the repair was you ? Helped me choose the type of thread and select the leather patch did you ? Help me apply the contact adhesive? If I remember correctly you never even helped me do the triple stitching. No. I am fairly sure I'd remember if you did.
So it raises a question. What the fcuk do you know about it and whether it'll be a weak point. ? seeing how a part of the glove which is not designed for impact now has triple stitching and an extra layer of leather bonded within it I am Bloody sure it'll be the stronger of the two gloves.
Wow!

Best of luck! I did the same nearly two years ago and love it here! Where abouts are you going?
Oh and re: the bike, I brought mine with me, but unfortunately wrote it off six months ago and have a more sensible bike now!
-
that'll be the weak point in a crash then!
-
yup, got these in black, bought them in HG back in 2009, still going strong although the suede palm has worn away (too much riding!)
still great gloves though

That was a few years ago yes! It was a great bike, but ended up making the switch to a v-twin... did miss the bike for a while (sold it to another TMBF member).
I've moved on... emigrated down under nearly four years ago and haven;t looked back. Recently bought an FZ1 that I've finished stripping and upgrading, now putting it back together.
Good to hear from you!
