Theres a fair few threads regarding punctures on here, all offering the same advice. If the puncture is a clean hole in the center band of the tyre, then it should be easily and cheaply repaired. I had one plugged a while back and never had a problem.

Well I bought some autoglym today and hid the oil, all gone! But oh my god I was blown to hell just CLEANING my bike! Damn windy!

Hooch, yeah I did usually, maybe I did use too much... Now I use a Dry Lube, I think the chain needs to be removed and cleaned properly. I lack the know how to perform this however... Phil/Rennie....I will check into that, thanks! EDIT They sell autoglym at Halfords for £3.99! And it looks like a multi purpose cleaning solution...sweet.

I keep getting Oil on my shiny new boots! I think its from when I used gear oil on my chain, still some residue. Whats the best way of cleaning it off?
